Carmelita Valletta

The apar**ent is just ok but the problem is that it looks completely different from the pictures. I was expecting a stilysh, clean cosy studio when in reality it's an IKEA furbished place, slightly run down, no attention to details, even a bit smelly. I was in apar**ent 135.

The property is clean and quaint. It is newly renovated and very comfortable. Two things to mention: the door to the unit is very difficult to open with the key and the stairs are difficult for older people with baggage. The lady who cleans is a gem, helping us with WIF and giving us her key. The lock tithe door needs replacing

Lovely little stay at gorgeous apar**ent. It had lots of nice little touches. The bed was comfy, room for everything you need and a little staircase to the rooftop which would have been really enjoyable in summer. Only downside is it can be noisy with traffic at certain times but other than that it was perfect. Oh it’s perfectly positioned too! Small walk to the ferry to Sliema and 1 minute walk to the main square.

After 9 days on Malta and Gozo quite by chance we found Carmelita apar**ents in Valletta. The apar**ent turned out to be the highlight of our stay on this beautiful island. The weather in august was nudging 40 degrees and to say we were hot was an understatement. The apar**ent was cool - the AC fantastic. Marble floors and crisp white bed linen on THE most comfortable beds. Fluffy towels. Great showers and squashy sofas with smart TVs to sink into at the end of the day. Trust your host Nadine to recommend restaurants - we had our best meal at the tap room just round the corner Special thanks to Eric the taxi driver who gave us a history lesson on the way to the airport. Again booked by our hosts. All in all the best luxury apar**ent we have stayed in for many years. During these tricky times it is so impressive to see the hospitality sector making travel so joyful for their guests Stay here. It’s a real gem
