Residencia Universitaria Damia Bonet

A friend and I stayed here while visiting my daughter who is studying abroad. Despite this being a dorm, our room was in a separate wing and offered a bedroom, kitchenette, private bathroom, living/dining area. It was very clean, comfortable, close to transportation and many dining options nearby. We did not use the facilities at all, but were pleasantly surprised at how quiet it was with all the college students. Great value for the money!

The rooms were dirty, and the facilities very poor. My sheets looked like they were older than me and they had stains on them. I’ve stayed in hostel dorms that were much nicer than my private room here.

Very good place to stay in Valencia. Peaceful and quiet but still a lot of good restaurants just around the corner.

Location very close to the center of the capital due to the proximity of buses and metro. Excellent service at reception for the trea**ent received. Good quality price. I have had very negative experiences in this hotel and that's why I want to share them with others: Many school classes are accommodated in this hotel. That's why it's always very loud. The children and teenagers have parties in their rooms until late at night, they run in the corridors and they speak loudly to each other and scream. The kids can do whatever they want, because there is no control from teachers or the hotel. As a result, I could hardly sleep during my stay and was constantly tired. That's why I say: never never again this accommodation!!! Suitable for school classes, but not for individual travelers and couples who want to get to know Valencia. Because of this accommodation, my stay in Valencia was terrible for me.

This place was a life-saver as I was arriving in Valencia and yet by 1900 could not find a room! Thanks to Paula from another Student House that introduced me to Jennifer who could accommodate me in Damia Bonet! The building is used by students during the year and during holidays can host external guests. For me, it was simply perfect. I had everything i needed in the room (even a kitchenette that however i did not use) and equally important for me, a safe place where to park my car. The room was cleaned every day and the building is perfectly maintained. The building is at short distance from the underground. the only minus is that I had to find a place where to have breakfast but that turned to be one more thing I have explored in the city. I felt for 3 days again as a student and that, for me, was a bonus point! If you are fine with the concept (this is NOT a hotel) I would definitely recommend it. Soggiorno perfetto. La location è a 20 min a piedi dalla spiaggia e dal centro ma volendo ci sono molti autobus essendo una zona universitaria è molto servita.

Ich habe mich sehr auf meinen Aufenthalt in Valencia/Spanien gefreut. Leider war mein Urlaub in diesem Hotel ein Desaster. Ich war im 5. Stock gleich neben der Treppe und gegenüber dem Aufzug untergebracht. Das Zimmer war sehr dunkel und es gab leider viele Mücken auf dem Zimmer, obwohl ich nicht viel gelüftet habe. Auf der anderen Seite des Aufzugs war eine Jugendgruppe aus Italien untergebracht. An Schlaf war nicht zu denken, da diese Jugendlichen bis drei Uhr nachts auf Ihrem Zimmer laut Party machten mit lauter Musik und auch noch ihre Freunde aus anderen Stockwerken dazu einluden. Um drei Uhr nachts nach ihrer lauten Party verabschiedeten sie sich vor dem Aufzug, der direkt gegenüber von meinem Zimmer lag, mit lauter Stimme und schreiend. Als endlich um halb vier Ruhe war, war an Schlaf trotzdem nicht zu denken, da viele Mücken in meinem Zimmer waren. Den ganzen Tag war ich todmüde wegen Schlafmangel. Diese Partys wurden jede Nacht von den Jugendlichen in dieser Weise abgehalten. Mehrere Gespräche mit den Jugendlichen waren ergebnislos, da sie immer mich auslachten oder grob beschimpften und aggressiv gegenüber mir waren. Daraufhin habe ich mich hilfesuchend an die Rezeption gewandt. Die Mitarbeiter waren immer abweisend und teilweise auch unfreundlich. Sie blieben untätig und die Situation änderte sich nicht. Ich war zehn Tage in diesem Hotel und ich sehnte mich danach nach Deutschland zurückzukehren. Es war mein schlimmster Aufenthalt in einem Hotel. Am schlimmsten fand ich, dass nicht einmal die Rezeption etwas unternahm um für Nachtruhe im 5. Stock zu sorgen. Die Betreuerin der Jugendlichen war auch nur unfreundlich und aggressiv mir gegenüber und war sehr erholt, weil sie in einem anderen Teil des Hotels, weit entfernt von den Jugendlichen untergebracht war. Ich hatte sogar Angst auf mein Zimmer zu gehen, weil die Jugendlichen mir gegenüber immer aggressiv waren und mich mit Schimpfwörtern bedachten, wenn sie mir begegneten. Ich war glücklich als mein Aufenthalt zu Ende war und ich dieses kalte Hotel verlassen konnte und das unfreundliche, nicht hilfsbereite Personal an der Rezeption hinter mich lassen konnte. Ich empfehle deshalb die Übernachtung in einem anderen Hotel, damit der Urlaub ein schönes Erlebnis wird und nicht wie bei mir, ein katastrophales Erlebnis, voll Ärger und ohne Schlaf.
