Not a bad place to stay if you aren't used to something better. Our stay in Valdosta was last second and we were limited on choices. We picked Baymont based on reviews, offered amenities, and pictures. What we didn't see is the run down furniture, the fact that their pool is still closed due to COVID when most other hotels in the area are open, and the fact that there was only toast, yogurt, cold cereal, and instant oa**eal offered for the "included breakfast". I can say that at least the bed was very comfortable.
As a last resort hotel, not bad. But if you have time to plan, spend just a bit more and go somewhere else.

My husband and I started vacationing at the Baymont 10 years ago for our weekend getaway but this was our last time staying there, I made reservations and asked for a room on the lowest floor possible because I recently had knee surgery and stairs was not an option for me, I also asked to be let known if this could not be accommodated so I could make other arrangements, well I was not let known, and when I asked about a lower floor I was told that there wasn’t any plus I paid in advance. I was put on the second floor and had to climb 2 flight of stairs in the rain to get to room 413, and to top that off the heat did not work and when we asked for at least a heater we were given 2 blankets, I’m a diabetic and was cold most of the night, couldn’t even take a shower, finally fell asleep around 4:30 am and was out of there as soon as we woke up. I don’t know how blankets was going to heat up the room but I do know that after vacationing at Baymont for the past 10 years this was our final and last time staying there

The cleanliness was fair the room that we stayed in could have used a few updates. It seems that the motel has been there for a while and no improvements have been made. the electrical outlets on both sides of the sink did not work and only one table lamp worked. We were only staying one night so we did not register any complaints We did advise the management of the problems at checkout.

Noisy heater, curtains bad, not enough bedding on bed, had to go to office to get another blanket and then that still wasn’t enough. No mirror by the bathroom sink

The breakfast was Okay but the coffee and the orange juice very, very weak. More water than any flavor.
waffles were goo but sweet rolls were not fresh and very few of them at 8 am.

From the outside it is well painted and kept up. The room was very “worn-out”. The facility is ready for a renovation.

pictures show bedspreads and other amenities. The pictures are not true. staff was nice but not very knowledgeable. this place is very tired. that is the nicest way i can give a description. at least no bugs visible.
