My experience is consistent with the older reviews here. The hotel is a cafe with several rooms in a low, red wooden building that looked like an overgrown lakeside cottage. Befitting that, the rooms are simple, but quite adequate. Wifi works, but services after the cafe closes (6 pm on the day I was there) require calling or emailing. If you're looking for a more full-service option, this isn't it. I agree that temperature or noise could be a problem, but it was not for me. My room had a fan that did the trick for circulation, and I heard a few footfalls, but that was it. Location is excellent for the castle - it is literally across the street. Breakfast was fine - the usual Scandinavian fare of bread, meat, cheese and cereal. When I was there, the hotel's guests were largely Swedish, and it was nice to feel like part of the culture.
