Special mention for the staff who are extremely courteous and caring.

I highly recommend Prakriti. The setting was incredibly beautiful, with views from every room, right on the river with the mountains overlooking. The food was fantastic and the staff very kind and eager to provide a fun and restorative experience. It was a perfect jumping off place for the trek from Gangotri to Gomukh and beyond. Highly recommend.

Nestled beside the beautiful Ganga, the property is a treat for all the senses. This is aptly located after Harsil. Finding a riverside property seemed like a stroke of luck! The rooms are spacious and incredibly well-lit. The staff helped us with our luggage. The beds are comfortable and everything is spotless! The washrooms are clean and kudos to the staff for keeping the place well-maintained. You get 24*7 hot water and a personal room heater to ward off the cold. We were pretty happy on seeing what was offered. We were welcomed with some of the best tea we have ever had! We ordered the crispiest pakodas you can get, which was the right decision. As a couple, we liked our privacy and our little balcony was the perfect place to sit and relax. We even went to the riverside and meditated for some time. The sound of the gentle river was the most rejuvenating experience for me. The buffet dinner was delectable with multiple choices! We thoroughly enjoyed the food. They have an elaborate menu and you even get room service! The staff there is super friendly and helpful. The staff at any place can make or break your trip. I loved my stay and will certainly come again! This is now my favorite place in the entire Harsil Valley. Thank you guys!

Excellent service by staff of Prakriti. Rooms were very clean and location is the best of all. Their buffet was amazing and had a lot of variety. I totally recommend this place for a comfortable and cozy stay. The staff is very helpful and cooperative. The manager Mr.Negi was above and beyond in customer service. Would definitely visit again later this year 10/10

This is a great place to stay if you’re travelling to Harsil Valley. It’s a little far from Harsil but that’s what makes this place better because it’s not in the market area instead in the river banks. The staffs are friendly, welcoming and helpful enough to point to right places for visiting and trekking. Food is nice too!

Best find of our trip to Gangotri Dham in Dharali. Sheetal made all possible arrangements that one could think of if you are visiting gangotri and Nelong valley. The suprise anniversary cake just made our day. The hotel staff was so pleasant and heart warming, all the time on the toes to help you. The cafe added charm to the property with cosy vibe in chilling temperature outside. The exteriors from hotel are just breath taking. Property is neat clean and decent to make your stay comfortable. I cannot stop thanking sheetal who beared my adhoc communications before we even entered the property. I stayed at this resort for 2 nights and it was a great experience. We were well informed in advance about the lack of tap water and that we will be provided buckets of water for the washroom. I was a bit hesitant, but booked nevertheless as the trip to Harsil was fixed. To my surprise, we did not feel any inconvenience in particular with regards to water supply. Infact, it is commendable that the hotel boys kept delivering buckets of warm water non stop to all rooms. The location is perfect, parking is private and secure. We requested for pahadi dinner and it was beyond delicious. It seems to be a safe family oriented property, much pricier than other hotels, but we did not want to risk, considering we had small children with us.
