"Terrible experience. The hotel doesn't maintain its facilities. The room had several problems. First, the lights behind the headboard were short-circuiting, which was very annoying. We went to the receptionist, who told us to turn off the light and see what would happen tomorrow. We found this unprofessional. We insisted, and they finally brought someone to look at the problem. Upon inspection, they discovered that one of the bed legs was loose, and they couldn't fix it. In fact, it got worse, as we were left without light in that area, the bed leg was unstable, and the headboard was poorly positioned. My partner and I decided to use the jacuzzi in the room, as it was one of the reasons we booked there, but it didn't work properly. The jets were stuck, the button wouldn't move, and it smelled bad. We were furious about the time wasted on all of this and that the room had so many problems considering the price. We spoke with the staff and they offered us another room for the following day since it was full at that time. The next morning, we decided to leave (we had two more nights booked) because of everything that had happened. They agreed to refund us for those two nights we weren't going to use, and we left peacefully, trusting their word. It was a lie. They lied to us for weeks, making excuses that *********** wasn't sending the information, etc. We called *********** again and again with the requirements they asked for, until we realized it was a strategy by the hotel staff. They weren't going to give us our money back; they had been deceiving us from that day on. Furthermore, the facilities were generally terrible. The rooftop terrace wasn't open as shown in the photos; it was dirty and had old furniture. It was unusable, and the common areas were generally filthy. The only positive thing was the breakfast staff—they were lovely. Don't go there and invest your money in much better places."

"Very good! Our hot air balloon trip was cancelled, so we temporarily stayed in Cappadocia for an extra day. We were staying in nearby Dedeli before and booked this hotel temporarily. Except that the room was smaller than Dedeli, it was hygienic and similar to Dedeli in all aspects of the cave. There is also another hotel in the hotel. You can sit in the courtyard! And the price is beautiful! Especially the boss! He was very enthusiastic and even gave us a taste of his own pickled vegetables and syrup made from local grapes! It is highly recommended by friends who travel independently. It is very close to hot air ballooning the next day."

"Kayata is a cosy, unique and magical hotel. Ayse on reception was AMAZING- she was so attentive, kind, warm and responsive. Hotel is situated in the perfect location in Urgup with free parking outside (car essential in Cappadocia if you want to see the sites). We could walk to all the local attractions- restaurants, bars, wine tasting, hamam etc. The room was divine- I felt like royalty! We even got engaged in there it was that special. Breakfast was fab- Turkish breakfast in a cosy breakfast room with great service. Hotel is happy to arrange all the activities for you and alcohol is also available and can be brought to your room. Also recommend using the transparent dome tent on the terrace- so cosy, can arrange shisha and drinks with a moutain view which is amazing. Note there was a smell of damp in the room but I felt this was part and parcel of staying in a cave with its own jacuzzi and hot shower. A dehumidifier was provided. It didn't bother us much. Loved it and would stay again. Thank you."
