"This was a return visit to the superb Hotel/Chateau a charming very French venue. We were met with a very warm welcome by the owners Marcelle, Tim , and Staff. Having checked in our room was excellent and were soon on our way to the first class facilities Indoor Pool/Jacuzzi/Sauna/Gym etc. Then to the delightful Restaurant in the evening for a fantastic meal and good quality wine’s. Next Morning breakfast was of high quality The Hotel being set on it’s own little Island makes it very private with large Gardens Ample parking also a wonderful Terrace perfect for dining in nice weather. A short walk into the Town or only a twenty minute drive to lovely Honfleur. We can highly recommend this Hotel and cannot wait to return. Thank you Clive Taylor."

"When I first arrived and eventually checked into this hotel, I considered it to be a disaster. My view improved by the time I checked out, but I would still not choose this hotel again, mainly because I usually travel with luggage and they have no elevator, or luggage trolleys. I do not find any fault with the staff. They were as helpful as they could be with the facilities they had to work with. I arrived after 0200h in the morning. I had expected the hotel to be in Barentin town centre. In fact it is in a "centre commercial". This is the french term for a shopping complex. Note that shops in these french centres are frequently open on Sundays. Prices in these shops usually compare favourably with town centres. I should have been aware that it was in a centre commercial, because it had a "route nationale" address, so the information was correct on the Accor website. When I actually arrived at the hotel, the next problem was locating the entrance door. The hotel building is a rather featureless cube. I had expected the entrance door to be directly adjacent to their illuminated green Ibis sign. It wasn't. The entrance door was on a different face of the hotel. The reason I could not find it was because it was in total darkness and hidden behind a row of bushes. Apparently an electrical fault had disabled the lights in the car park at the time I arrived. The next problem was that my room was on the 3rd floor, I travel with a lot of luggage, and the hotel had no elevator. I was about to give up and find somewhere else, but the girl offered to move me to a room on the ground floor. In view of the number of times I had disturbed her sleep, I would have felt very bad about going somewhere else after her efforts to be helpful. It should be noted that at least some of the staff here live on the property. The hotel closes at night, but key staff are expected to be "on call". I had already disturbed this girl's sleep at least 4 times. When reception is closed, access to the hotel is gained by a 4 digit code. There is also a code for the hotel's parking area, but in event of overspill there is no apparent problem using the parking lot of an adjacent property. The rooms are not much bigger than what you would expect a Red Ibis hotel, although they are much smarter. Breakfast is a similar standard to what you would expect at a Red Ibis. At the time of my visit, breakfast was included in the room price. Coffee taken was also included, although is unavailable when reception is closed. I suspect that this is a relatively new hotel, and the building was not designed as such. I expect that the problems (including the lack of an elevator) will be resolved over time, following which the free breakfast will probably be withdrawn. The fact that the hotel is in a commercial shopping complex is actually quite convenient. The hotel does not have its own restaurant, but there are 2 "fast food" restaurants adjacent to the hotel. "Beautiful hotel in the heart of Rouen.I was a little worried before arriving because the room photos looked somewhat dated, especially since we chose a Classic Room for its larger size. However, the room exceeded my expectations. It was clean, spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. The wooden panel on the wall and bed frame were actually quite new, unlike some older hotels in Europe where the furnishings can feel worn out.The lobby was modern and welcoming, and I absolutely loved the spa and sauna facilities. After a long day of exploring Rouen, relaxing in the sauna was such a treat.The restaurant was also excellent. We had dinner in the courtyard, and the atmosphere was simply perfect. The food, setting, and overall experience made for a wonderful evening. The receptionist and bellboy were both friendly, professional, and very helpful throughout our stay.Overall, this was one of the nicest 5-star hotel experiences I have had in Europe. Many luxury hotels in Europe can feel overpriced relative to the standard offered, but this hotel delivered excellent value and quality.One thing I would like to mention is that I noticed several negative reviews on TripAdvisor regarding the restaurant and bar service. We initially had a similar experience when we requested a table outside. A waiter told us there were no outdoor tables available without a reservation, despite there being several empty tables visible. We were asked to sit inside instead. When I questioned this and asked when the supposedly reserved tables were due to be occupied, the answer was not very clear.Rather than letting this affect our evening, I spoke with the receptionist, who was incredibly helpful. She immediately addressed the situation with the restaurant staff, and within minutes an outdoor table was arranged for us. From that point on, everything was excellent.Because the rest of our stay was so outstanding, I wanted to leave this review to reassure future guests. While service inconsistencies at the restaurant may occasionally occur, they should not discourage anyone from staying at this hotel. The hotel's overall quality, facilities, comfort, and customer care far outweigh this minor issue.We would happily return and stay for longer next time. Highly recommended."

Estacionamento e no topo. A ar condicionado e apresentam níquel TV e um pouco pequeno mas muito bom. Não lamento ter ficado em casa se um dia eu voltar para a região, espero que a parte de spa piscina tenha tido um grande golpe de renovação cuidadosamente, porque há potencial com este maravilhoso hammam. E o sistema de cabine duche será revisto ou uma ducha real com WC fora de cabina um lugar real em duro ....
