Courtyard by Marriott Tuxpan Veracruz

Friendly reception team staff & managers Dulce & Daniela. They not only recognized me & greeted me but they were aware that it was my second visit at their hotel in less than 4 months. I had the opportunity to chat with both of them and thanked them for my suite upgrade because of my Marriott Gold Elite Status. By the way, the one-bedroom suite is very comfortable located in the very end of the 5th Floor, with the best view of the river and two balconies. Suggested again to Manager Dulce that mini refrigerator in the suite should be fulfilled with drinks and snacks since restaurant closes at 10:00PM, despite the fact that the hotel has a hidden mini market to the reception side which is not visible to guests but only hotel employees know about it. What a pleasant surprise to find a Starbucks inside the Courtyard Tuxpan by Marriott, which opened last December 22, 2022. Starbucks is the afternoon place to be because of its vibe and all the foot traffic generating. However, I had a bad experience on my last day in the restaurant during breakfast hours. I was seated for over ten minutes at a table and none of the two waiters acknowledged me nor brought me a menu. Since my time was tight, I went to reception and told Paola my frustration of no having service at all at the restaurant. She apologized on behalf of the restaurant crew and she went immediately to kitchen to let one of waiters know about my presence in the restaurant. Later, Carlos, the Restaurant Manager, asked me how was everything and I shared the bad experience I had at the restaurant that morning. Carlos also apologized for the bad restaurant experience. Also, I told him that the previous 2 mornings I have had an outstanding service from waitress Veridiana, who was always attentive to my breakfast needs. Kudos for her! Waiters should learn from her! Overall my experience was great as it happened the first time I stayed @ Courtyard Tuxpan by Marriott last October 2022, almost perfect this time except for the restaurant bad experience on my last day. Because of friendly reception staff and Managers Dulce and Daniela, I felt I was at home and definitely recommend Courtyard Tuxpan by Marriott and will keep staying there in my future visits to Tuxpan, Veracruz.

Both Dulce, Reception Manager & Daniela, Hotel Manager, made my stay at Courtyard Tuxpan by Marriott a pleasant & memorable one because they personally interacted with me to make sure everything was fine. Because of my Marriott status, I was upgraded to the corner Tuxpan Suite in the 5th & Last Floor, so the view as well as the suite, were very impressive. Thanks Dulce, for upgrading me to the Tuxpan Suite and being so professional, friendly and by always smiling during my stay made me feel welcome at your hotel. Also, thanks to Hotel Manager Daniela for interacting with me and personally caring about my stay including taking me a picture in the restaurant without my knowledge of who she was. Daniela is a very humble person, professional, friendly and customer oriented manager. I suggested Daniela a couple of things to improve my stay to 200%, and she took care of them immediately. I appreciated her speedy actions. Tuxpan Suite is very spacious, comfortable, with a big living room, jacuzzi & coffee table in the master king bedroom, and L shape exterior corner balcony. Wish mini bar were fully stocked but it was empty. Food quality at their restaurant is very good and prices are mid-ranged. Wish waitress would ask if you would like to have an interior or exterior table despite a warm weather to enjoy an exterior table. However, no option was offered but just interior table. Please note that restaurant does not offer a breakfast buffet yet but only a la carte. Hotel has been renovated recently and still working to complete renovation in another next building wing. Didn’t go/use their fitness center. Overall, Courtyard Tuxpan Hotel is an excellent hotel option in Tuxpan, Veracruz, close to downtown, about 15-20 minutes walking with professional and friendly staff.

The hotel was nice. Very impressive to be honest knowing the type of hotels that Tuxpan has. It needs a maintenance but I can’t complain. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was nice too. I liked that the door could be used to close the entire restroom or just the toilet. The room has a safety box and iron but does not have a blow dryer. My room had a huge view to the pool. The architecture of the hotel is quite different nevertheless aesthetically.

Este Hotel cuenta con increíble Recepcionista Olga me ayudó a tomar una excelente decisión para hospedarme con ellos, las 3 habitaciones increíbles limpias y adecuadas a lo que necesitamos !! Pero lo que me ayudó a decidirme por esta propiedad fue su servicio cálido, su profesionalismo, su sonrisa y excelente actitud. La verdad creo que el valor humano de cualquier empresa son sus colaboradores lo que marca la gran diferencia versus la competencia !! Si me preguntas cuál es el valor agregado de este hotel es Olga que me ayudó a tener la mejor estancia y no solo para mi sino para mis acompañantes felicidades Olga por tu excelente servicio y por ser increíble en tu puesto !! Definitivamente espero volver y tener el gusto de saludarte de nuevo

Viene mejorando, el hotel recientemente se unió a la cadena Marriott, ha mejorado su servicio, las habitaciones tienes sus detalles, la regadera no sella bien y chorea por todos lados, lo mismo con la llave del lavabo. le vendría bien que pusieran mas atención en el mantenimiento. La atención en recepción es excelente, muy cálida. EL desayuno esta decente a secas, los meseros unos como que si están atentos, otros no tanto, nada que no se pueda resolver. Check In, Check out, sin contratiempos. en varias ocaciones hemos solicitado nuestro upgrade de habitación de Marriott Gold Elite sin éxito, esperamos en la siguiente visita tener un poco mas de suerte. Es nuestra Opción en Tuxpan, solo pequeños detalles que mejorar.

Excelente ubicación, comodidad, trato amable, habitación limpia, cómoda, alberca muy bonita. En lobby Starbucks. Cerca del centro, un poco lejos de la playa pero definitivamente lo súper recomiendo. Y si hay estacionamiento.

Horriblemente estar el fin de semana para descansar y tener que aguantar la música a todo volumen de un bar cercano, además de que personas hospedadas llegan a las 3-4 am azotando puertas y haciendo mucho ruido. Es una lástima de lugar ya que aparte no hacen nada por mejorar, la alberca fría, goteras. No regreso !
