Met and exceeded our expectations, beautiful location and scenery, beautiful accommodation with all one could need for a relaxing stay. Hotel staff very friendly and accommodating even got a surprise cake for my birthday. ............

One off the best resorts in the area . Good location , well organized facilities for skiers , very clean and super rooms . Private car indoor parking friendly staff. Buffet - a la carte Restaurant well decorated with all day menu es selections although menu options should be improved . Spa areas good enough but closing time at 20 : 00 is early especially when the hotel is full .

Our stay here has almost spanned ten days (we leave in two days). We don’t see snow in Western Australia so our mouths were wide open at the abundance of snow and arriving on 6 December, it was beginning to feel a lot like Christmas 🎄 We were collected from the train station by France who was super friendly and give us some local advice. This family ran hotel is superb! Every inch of the hotel is so well thought out and in all honesty, if we were not skiing each day, the hotel alone would offer so much to do. We felt guilty leaving this beautiful place to hit the piste. The staff are all super helpful. No request is too much. So sorry for not remembering all of the names but just a few to mention here: Hannah, Anna, Alexis, Bianca, Johann, Isobela, Patrick, Jonathan, Doriana (sorry if misspelt) and the driver who give us our complimentary trip to the slopes each day! 😊 During our stay we have only had very minor feedback to give directly to the hotel. Nothing to spoil the stay but very minor detail that may put the icing on the cake for some staying guests. It does not reduce the five star review hence our feedback will be directly to hotel and not on here as it may not impact most and would be unfair given the efforts they go to, to make this place as close to perfection as possible. Our 11 and 12 year old said “this place feels like we have landed in heaven.” We have previously stayed in fabulous places so our standards are very high. The Bergfried hotel has met and exceeded our expectations. Some guests were on their eighth stay. That is testament to the standards of this hotel. There is so much we could say about this place but we loved the surprise element of discovering all this hotel had to offer and would hate to take that away from any future guests. Thank you for our wonderful and memorable stay so far. We are not looking forward to checking out 😢

The best customer service we had in Austria. Starting from check in and check out everyone was pleasant! Rooms were comfortable and clean. Anything we asked for they were all very accommodating. From reception, to massage, to the waitress and waiter.. everyone was amazing. Really made up for a horrible service from Vienna and Salzburg. We wish we had more time to stay at this resort. One bad thing I can say is that if you wake up before breakfast starts no one will help you in the dining room area. Not even for a cup of coffee.

The hotel is generally very good. Service was excellent and the quality of the food at breakfast, lunch (included) and dinner was very good. All staff members speak good English (though English-speaking guests are definitely a minority). A couple of minor points given the hotel is 5-stars. The impression is that the hotel has grown significantly recently, and the "new parts" are excellent - especially the rooftop pool and the downstairs pool. But the layout is confusing - if you arrive by car you park in level -3 (no one meets you), and then you bring your cases up to level 1 where you walk into the lunch buffet, and only then you find reception. Also the hotel is quite dark as it is on the edge of the valley. Our family room had a balcony, but it overlooked the kitchen courtyard. Also, there is no evening turndown service. These are minor ******* and generally the hotel is very good.

Cela fait le 4ème hiver que nous séjournons une semaine pour le ski alpin. La famille Stock se plie vraiment en 4 pour vous satisfaire. La qualité des chambres (Lifestyle suite 3) est toujours impeccable et le restaurant reste d'un excellent niveau. Il est peut-être un peu victime de son succès car même en janvier l'hôtel atteint des taux de remplissage de 80 %. L'hôtel va fermer d'avril à décembre 2018 pour rénovation de sa cuisine, salle à manger et wellness spa. Vivement 2019 !

Отель целиком и полностью оправдывает все опубликованные о нем отзывы! Все безупречно до мелочей! Главное нет излишней напыщенности... Еда- восторг! Неделя обжорства... Отдельное восхищение персоналом- они ИСКРЕННЕ рады Вам, внимательны и нет натянутых улыбок... Сюда действительно хочется вернуться!!!

Ein rund um perfekter Urlaub in unserem schönen Österreich! Ein Hotel welches umgeben von einem großen Skigebiet ist, bietet Romantik, hohen Wohlfühlfaktor, traumhaften Wellness Bereich, Kulinarik auf hohem Niveau und jede Menge Herzlichkeit der Familie Stock! Vom ersten Moment an ist ein Wohfühlmoment garantiert. Nach einem unkomplizierten Check in gab es zur Begrüßung ein Getränk unserer Wahl. Im Anschluss bekamen wir eine tolle Hotelführung und Begleitung zu unserer Lifestyle Suite. Diese Suite war himmlisch. Ein wunderbares Zimmer sehr modern aber doch mit liebe zum Detail und warme Möbel die süße Träume garantieren. Die Kulinarik ebenfalls auf 5 Sterne Niveau auch wenn das Hotel 4S ist. Der Wellnessbereich perfekt nach einem Skitag. Eine tolle Auswahl an Saunen/ Dampfbädern. Besonders zum empfehlen das outdoor Whirlpool, wo man einen wunderschönen Blick am verschneiten Berg hat dazu serviert das Barpersonal jeden Getränkewunsch, was möchte man mehr. Abschließend kann man sagen, ein Hotel welches keinen Wunsch offen lässt. Für uns war es der schönste Skiurlaub!

Een grote teleurstelling !! Ik had een dagje spa geboekt en mij werd verteld via de e-mail dat alles vanaf 11:00 open was. Dat kwam goed uit, want mijn behandeling was om 10:00 en ik moest om 14:00 mijn dochter ophalen. Kom ik uit mijn behandeling is 70% van de faciliteiten in de wellness nog dicht en die gingen pas om 14:00 open. Totaal verkeerd ingelicht terwijl ik in de mail expliciet had gevraagd of alles om 11:00 dan open is. Om teleurstellingen te voorkomen, maar helaas was dat het geval. Ik kreeg bij de balie wel mijn geld terug, maar erg hartelijk ging het helaas niet ! Nooit meer
