La Blanche Resort & Spa

Third year in a row visiting La Blanch. We love the location and find the rooms generally in good condition though some do look a little tired. That being said we had maid service everyday with clean towels everyday and sheets changed frequently. The staff are all friendly with a special mention to Abdullah in the snack bar who always went the extra mile to make sure everything was OK for us. Also Ercan in the snack bar and Italian a la cart was always on hand to make sure things were to a high standard. We found the food in the main restaurant good with lots of choice at all sittings though could get busy at times. Entertainment in the evening was generally good but did get a bit repetitive at times. But if it's your first visit we think you would enjoy it ... Turkish dancers...Brazilian dancers etc We never stayed around the pool area as it did get a bit loud, as we are a little older we prefer the beach area which was clean, Akram was always tidying litter away and cleaning sunbeds for his customers...a credit to the resort! Only real negative we found this time was the music being so loud all the time, from where we sat on the beach at times we could hear music from all three areas, pool, pontoon bar and snack bar which is a bit annoying when you just want to relax. Maybe it would be worth considering an outside bar with no loud music where you can actually talk with people without music over powering everything ? Overall we loved it and the negative at the end wouldn't stop us going back again next year.

The only outstanding thing about this hotel is the naturally beautiful sunsets. the man made lagoon and the beautiful flowers around it.. The hotel is tired and needs badly upgraded, the pool has too many sun beds making it difficult to to get into the water as they are all at the waters edge. Our room was on the ground floor although a large family room it had shower and water leaking issues and ants. The specialty restaurant’s are all located near the lagoon and double up as snack bars during the day with QR code service which does not compare to the personal touch. Food was acceptable unfortunately the table service was poor for a five star facility. The area around the hotel is badly neglected and would be a challenge for people with mobility issues. Having stayed in many 5 star hotels in Turkey over the years this hotel comes bottom of the list for service and facilities.

Amazing time. Big shout out to Chris on the entertainment team. Gave us a great night out off the resort. looked after us the whole way to the club and back. Provided travel to the club and back and generally a really lovely guy. As lovely as the resort was it was nice to have a night off site to explore the town and was nice to have such a good rep on the entertainment team to look after us

Found the service SHOCKING ……….. sat in the snack restaurant and seen people after people be serviced and not one member of staff would service myself, This is the second night in a row…… is it just to me being a solo male traveller ? Females seem to get over serviced with 2-3 males staff as soon as they site down On check in i was told that i was upgraded free of charge ( room upgrade ) so found out why that was ………. My upgraded room was under the band that played very night till 11:30 on asking to be moved i was told the hotel was full . The location of the hotel is nice and is very clean however the service is a complete JOKE !!!!!! The restaurant is not even busy !!!!

Just enjoying a week's stay with an all round good experience with beautiful views from our room. The pool is fantastic and although the beach looks good it is a shingle beach and very deep so not great for weaker swimmers. Staff in restaurants all really friendly and look after you. Bar staff occasionally serve people behind you when queuing if they know them which is a little frustrating. Chinese, Italian and Turkish restaurants all excellent for evening meal, they all have a set starter and dessert (turkish is also a sharing platter for main) our kids loved all the food. When arriving I checked with receptionist the process for booking restaurant and they informed me there was no limit on bookings you just needed to queue each morning. On our last full day however I was turned away and told we had reached our limit. I did feed this miscommunication back to a manager and said the reception team need retraining to provide the right information however they said there was nothing wrong and I should know reservations are limited to 1 per restaurant, this was extremely frustrating after queuing for 25 minutes. Housekeeping we're very good and room always looked well presented with daily changing of towels and linen. There were some maintenance issues with toilet not flushing & shower tray leaking in our room, despite reporting to reception I ended up fixing toilet cistern myself. Also there was no bottle opener in fridge and I had to report to reception twice before they would believe me and gave me. There are a couple of other issues with the first being towel wars, on our first day we couldn't use the pool as all loungers were reserved but only half of them were in use, throughout our stay we had to follow others and put out towels during the night to ensure we had a space. The other issue is the main restaurant is chaotic what ever time you use it, there is just to many people trying to get round and there seems to be a lack of regard from other users who push through even when your children have a plate of food in their hands. All in all a good holiday and although a little tired in places and things to improve on the staff make up for this with their excellent service.

We have spent one week family holidays in La Blanche Resort. Hotel is well situated with beach front and just 15 minutes walk to Turgutreis center. Room was spacy enough to fit two adults with two kids. Cleaning service was good. Central air condition was having couple of times bad smell. Food was alright but sometimes it was running short so there was a need of queueing even for 20 minutes. Four al carte restaurants to choose from. Best one for us was Turkish cousin with great service received twice from Abdullah. Unfortunately, there was a constant issue with sun beds availability as people were double booking them on the pool and beach so there was a shortage. People were reserving by throwing towels from 5AM…Hotel marked as 5* should have implemented more convenient booking system ensuring one sun bed per person everyday. Overall, our stay was good but we won’t come back as price was in our opinion too high vs. received quality.

We stayed here the end of may 2023 and loved it. The only downside was that it was very windy(but it was may)The rooms were very clean and well kept much bigger than we expected, small balcony ,just room to sit out and have a cuppa, fridges were restocked every day with water and sodt drinks, food was good.beach to the left was lovely and sandy,great for kids. Would definitely stay again,bit later in the year.

When we first arrived we found out we had been upgraded to a family room which was so spacious with lots of storage. Great room with a pool view we were really pleased. The food in the main restuarant was ok. We managed to find something which was edible for breakfast but not enjoyable unfortunately. Again, tea there was always something that we could eat but it certainly wasn’t the best that we have been to food wise. It would have benefitted from a children’s area for food too with basics like pizza, nuggets etc as every night was tricky to find something that the children would eat. There is actually a kids area but nothing is in it. We managed because we booked in the a la carte restaurants and also ate out twice. However the setting of the restaurant is lovely if you can get an outdoor seat because it overlooks the beach. The sunset is the best I have seen. At lunch we ate at the snack bar where you can order meals to your table e.g. burger, pizza, crispy chicken etc. waffles and ice creams are also available as part of the all inclusive as well as cakes. Location is great and cannot be faulted: being on the beach is just stunning. We loved sitting at the beach bar in the afternoon overlooking the beach. It was amazing. It is only a 15minute flat beach front walk to the town centre which is great for shopping and there are restaurants and bars here too. Entertainment during the day was plentiful. My 9 year old boy was entertained throughout the day with cocktail games, water polo, darts and kits water sports. He made many friends during these activities and would also play football inbetween. Some of the guests at the hotel were very competitive during the ‘fun’ kids activities. Some would not allow children to join in volley ball and another shouted at my husband for using the wrong hand during darts. On these occasions it was not English people who were complaining so I think maybe it is a cultural thing. My little girl went to kids club everyday as she insisted on going, however she was usually the only child in there. I sent an email of concern as the staff in the room seemed to be playing about on their phones when I picked her up. My little girl also said they had been taking her photograph with their phones and when I confronted them they denied it. When I emailed about it they said they would have done it for evidence so I had two conflicting answers here. Either way I felt I should have been notified before her picture was taken. The activities in kids club were repetitive (play doh, painting, colouring, uno) but I wonder if that’s because they were only getting one or two children attending. There was also a bubble show and Alice in wonderland one during the day which my little girl enjoyed. Hero is an amazing part of the entertainment team and makes all of the games exciting and fun we loved him! Some of the girls need his enthusiasm unfortunately! The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful and clean, apart from one bar near the spa which although clean smells really bad. The room was spotless though and couldn’t fault it. The pool was clean and spacious but beware of sunbed wars as there isn’t as many sunbeds as people by the pool area. As for food was nice, I am a fussy eater so I was expecting to go and eat just chips like every resort I’ve been too but I managed to eat a lot more variety than expected. The reception team were lovely and there was a women I spoke to at guest regulations who was so helpful and honest. The entertainment itself is a little repetitive (mainly the few dances) but two definitely stood out and MADE the holiday. Sunny and Hero!!. Credits to them, I would honestly be friends with them outside the resort. Most of the other entertainment were friendly. However, myself and other guests I spoke to did find one entertainer named Layla to be rude and if your English, blonde, youngish or just pretty in general she will made you feel like rubbish. It started when we went out for the disco tour provided by the hotel, she was waving at my boyfriend and when I waved back she pulled a face and laughed. Then when at the club disco thing, she continued to try and dance around my boyfriend. When me and my boyfriend were dancing she started pulling faces behind me which we caught on video. Then the whole time in the resort she would look me up and down and laugh to this other person who worked there. I spoke to other guests who were English blonde and young and she had done it to them too eventually reported this to the guest regulations I was told that the manager of entertainment advised she has a face mimic problem ? I’m sorry? What’s that? And if she was mimicking my face she would be smiley, no?. Either way we didn’t let her ruin the holiday, thankfully I have thick skin . Apart from that everyone else who worked there was amazing. Especially hero and sunny :). The beach is beautiful and the snack bar!! Is amazing!! We did use the spa which was amazing and we did go to the indoor shops but they were more pricey so best to go to the market in town. We also went on the boat trip which was brill and good for price :) We would still recommend even with the bad because the good outweighed :)
