Ficamos quatro noites nesse hotel e gostamos bastante da experiência, apesar de haver alguns pontos para melhora.
Os quartos são amplos, com cama confortável e bem limpos, mas já são datados (tanto que há uma parte renovada).
O atendimento é, na maioria, cortês e simpático, sem ficar exigindo muita propina. O check in foi um ponto negativo, pois a funcionária não explicou nada sobre o resort, especialmente o sistema de carrinhos para transporte (tivemos que descobrir sozinhos).
As refeições são fartas e com muitas opções, mas acabam repetindo muito o cardápio no restaurante principal. Bebidas variadas, mas se deve pedir um rótulo específico caso não queira beber qualquer marca.
O ponto negativo fica por conta da reserva para restaurantes temáticos. O método usado pelo hotel acaba impedindo/dificultando as reservas e, nos dias em que estivemos, conseguimos apenas dois dias - no final, descobri que, caso você compre uma garrafa de vinho, aí a vaga aparece num passe de mágica...
Ao final, acabamos gostando da experiência, mas acredito que não repetiríamos.

We loved the property! The property is huge! It’s well kept and beautiful! The staff is very accommodating and friendly, too. When we had a question or needed something, there’s always someone available to help us. There’s a lot of activities you can do during the day and the shows they have at night are really entertaining. We stayed for a week and we didn’t even have enough time to explore the whole property! That’s how big it is! Plenty of things to do for adults and children. We had an amazing time and we plan on coming back next year!

Overall the hotel was EXCELLENT!! Service, staff, facilities, entertainment, food 5 stars. The only disappointment was the beer choice (should over 1 or 2 more options).

The staff was exceptional. They go above and beyond to make sure you are safe, happy and have everything you need. Cleanliness and upkeep of the resort was also excellent.

The food was not good for the amount of money I paid. My bed was not comfortable/rock hard and I was not provided a comforter.

Rooms are musky smelling. When we first got there, no bell boy showed up to help us to the front desk. Staff not as personable as other resorts that we have been to, no one informed us that we had to get reservations for dinner arrangements days in advance. If we wanted to go to certain places food was great at all locations that we had them although portion sizes were small we wish that there was like street tacos, close by the pool areas so that you didn’t have to get dressed and go to the different restaurants to get food. Check out process was pretty easy however, transportation from the hotel to the airport was a mess.

Entire staff was friendly, especially our check in guru Christopher. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The grounds were well kept. Shuttle service was super convenient. A couple days walking the paths to or from the rooms there was a strong septic smell, but it was pretty localized to a specific area. Beaches were great and easy enough to find a spot for the day. Would recommend staying at Bahía Príncipe Akumal.
Try the Dolce Vita restaurant it was our favorite. ku’uk restaurant was good also.
