Words cannot describe the experience we had at Xela. My husband and I are hospitality enthusiasts — I love hotels and he loves restaurants. We’ve been to amazing places around the world but our trip to Xela was truly memorable. The property itself is gorgeous — with only 12 rooms, it feels cozy and exclusive like you’re staying at an estate. The food was also lovely, we had mezcal margaritas and ceviches everyday. But it’s really the team, people and service that takes it over the top. Paula, Manual, Abdiel and the entire staff there made you feel like home — they are warm, attentive, and on top of everything. Everything felt so personalized, to the point they remember your order. This was by far one of the best, if not the best, service we’ve ever had. At the end of our week-long stay, we truly didn’t want to leave and already talked about coming back. We’re so grateful to Xela for making this trip unforgettable.

Absolutely stunning. As soon as we stepped into Xela, it felt like our home. The team made so much effort to make our stay pleasurable. The breakfast was delicious! We enjoyed all the amenities.. the beautiful pool, the gym, the rooftop bar for the sunset view. And complimentary bikes was sucha good touch. 1000% recommended. And special thanks to the concierge team Paula, Manuel and Adbiel. Can’t wait to be back.

Xela is one of the most beautiful and serene hotels we’ve ever stayed at. We loved how it was within walking distance to everything but also far removed enough to feel quiet and relaxing. There are no kids allowed and it is not open to the public which helped maintain a respectful, tranquil and private experience. The staff including Abdiel, Manuel, Paula & Emily were exceptional and did everything to help make our stay comfortable and memorable. We were upgraded to the most beautiful and spacious suite which made us feel so special! We also enjoyed plenty of house dishes (from the eggs Benedict to the shrimp tacos) and some of the best cocktails we’ve had over the entire trip! We didn’t want to leave and are already planning our next stay. Can’t wait to be back soon!

The most special “hotel” we’ve ever been. Be ready to fall in love with Xela, every single details of decoration is amazing, you enter and feel like at home, but the kind of home you are dreaming about. The staff and concierges are so kind, they help you with everything and the communication is so easy, using a WhatsApp group they create on your arrival. The breakfast is delicious, also the restaurant and cocktail part. The location/view and amenities are perfect. The smell of the all place is incredible. I have absolutely nothing negative to say, we loved every second of our stay there , and they had a special attention as it was for our honeymoon. We will never forget! We will definitely come back. Thank you for everything

This is now my go-to property for a quick getaway from Texas! The property and facilities are absolutely stunning with no detail overlooked. The staff are all incredibly helpful and friendly and the transportation company that the hotel facilitated are the least expensive option I've found. There are many restaurants and shops in walking distance making the location one of the best. I could not recommend this hotel more.

Spectacular. One of the best boutique hotels on the beach in Tulum. The rooms are on par if not better than the best luxury boutique hotels in the world The attention to detail is world class on the rooms, bar, pool and beach Xela is definitely in a class that few other properties are in.

Amazing experience - we celebrated our anniversary there and the hotel staff arranged for some surprises for us. The room was well decorated and atmospheric. Great for couple / intimate stay. The staff are super helpful and attentive. Best of all is that it is located at the quieter part of the beach which means you have the beach with few people. Hope we can go back again!

I have been to Tulum before, but I must stay the quality of stay at Xela was spectacular. Everyone of the staff that we met was polite and responsive. The views from the rooftop were exquisite and the drinks and food hit the spot each time. Thank you for an absolutely amazing trip. Cheers to life and all things good.

My first time in Tulum and I have to say Xela made my experience much more enjoyable. The service was top notch. The rooms, the lobby, the food the drinks were all top tier. They truly went out of their way to accommodate all our needs. I highly recommend this place. Super chic, clean and the views from their adorable rooftop were incredible for sunset views. Thank you all for such great service!!
