This is a very basic hotel with basic facilities , but I gave it 5 stars for the following reason. - clean room - wifi is fast and reliable - low price - morning coffee is great!! The coffee machines are DeLonghi. Other notes Great hot spring complex 1 minute walk away. Nakayan Izakaya has amazing food!! 7/11 and supermarket very near Tsuru people are kind and helpful.

I think it is convenient for traveling around the Mt. Fuji area. I was annoyed by the small size of the toilet bowl, but overall it is a comfortable hotel at a reasonable price.

We are glad to have stayed in Fuji Matsuzono Hotel. The room was spacious and comfortable for a family of 3 and there was a small table with 2 chairs that allowed us to sit around to have some late night snacks and drinks. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. When I approached them at 1am for an additional pillow, they immediately attended to the request. The bath area for the onsen was clean and spacious. The amenities provided were also good quality. There is also a great selection of food during breakfast. Most importantly, room was facing Mt Fuji and we managed to get a nice morning view of Mt Fuji when we woke up. The view was spectaculars and there is a nice courtyard that one can take nice photos with Mt fuji in the background. The hotel is also located in a very convenience location. Once you exit the hotel, you will see Lake Yamanakako and there were many eateries nearby, all within walking distance. As we drove, it was also convenience that Lawson and 7-11 is less than 5 min drive away. Will definitely visit again.

Location is fantastic a short walk from Mt Fuji station. Property is straight forward and clean, with a great dining area and then a fantastic rooftop with uninterrupted views of Fuji San. (You’ll want to see it from other vantage points but a still great to see it from the hotel so easily.) Bicycles for rent upon availability which are a great way to get around town. Staff are all great and willing to help with any information on things to see and do. One of my best experiences travelling in Japan. Photo is from the rooftop.

- This is a perfectly excellent cleaning and organisation - allows you to leave bags after check out free - cabin bed with towels and tooth shield. - Just next to the train station and the entrance to the attraction park. - Lawson door with door to buy breakfast and food. Negative that close hotel from 10h to 15h. I understand that close rooms, bathrooms and lockers but in living should leave it open. If you spend more than one night ...te stays on the street from 10h to 15h.

Did a 2 night stay to be able to see Mt Fuji and the lake nearby with my family. This hotel is near the bus station but it is a little bit of a walk from there. The staff was great and helpful. The room was quiet, a little larger than the standard Japanese hotel room even had a partial view of Mt Fuji. We had a small kitchenette. It was definitely dated and unfortunately had the hardest bed we ever slept on, no give at all. Pillows were no better. But having said that, they do have complimentary heating pads!! And they will provide additional pillows. The lake is in walking distance of the the hotel. If you walk outside the hotel and take a right, walk to the light. across the street and to the right is a secondhand store with lots neat things. Still, the overall stay was pleasant.

The environment is comfortable and clean. It's just a few minutes' walk from Mount Fuji Station. You can see Mount Fuji as soon as you step out. It's more spacious than a hotel in downtown Tokyo. The toilet and bathroom are separate and independent. The lobby has a warm and homey feel. There are three kinds of bread for breakfast, and the raisins are wrapped well. It's delicious. You can drink coffee and tea. When you open the door in the morning, the direct sunlight comes in and it's very lively. Only the heater makes a noise in the middle of the night. I will come back next time but I don't want this room. I want to try the room upstairs.

The hotel's building, without the outer charm (euphemism) is difficult to reach by public transport and it is impossible to reach in the evening. There is a shipping ship that comes to you on the day of your arrival and deposits you at the station on the morning of your departure or during your stay (3 hours a morning). The rooms are very good, large and with a wonderful view of the Fuji mountain. The staff is helpful but speaks very little English and communicates by google translation. This can lead to confusion as it is happening to us. The person who received us was particularly hateful, which was not the case with the rest of the staff very happy.
