This was our second visit to Alamanda Family Villas & Pool and again we enjoyed our stay very much. The team arranged also our train tickets from Jakarta to Bandung and from Bandung to Yogjakarta. The staff is outstanding and extremely helpfull and friendly. Also via Alamanda team a taxi was arranged for our further trip to Malang / Broma / Kalibaru and ferry crossing to Bali. Furthermore they can arrange all kind of excursions !

Clean quiet and comfortable. We felt like family when we stayed there. Breakfast each morning was excellent. The entire staff was excellent. They organized our day trips, drivers and guides were great. English speaking

With a smile on our face and tears in our eyes we‘re packing our bags to leave our „home“ in Yogyakarta. Thank you so much Frans and teams (or should I say „family“?) for those 7 amazing days. The kids were sad as they realized we have to go: „This is the best one we’ve ever been and deserves 5 stars!“ Mas Tono, thank you for your all! We hope to see you in Europe. Frans, we don’t say goodbye. We say „Auf Wiedersehen“ for a reason. Once again, thank you for the laughs and love you share with the people around you! Stay healthy and see you — hopefully soon! P.S.: The beds and pillows are really good.

We (my wife, myself and our 5 year old son) stayed at this place for seven nights in April 2023. And although I did not write any reviews in the recent past, our splendid experience at Alamanda led me make an exception: the rooms are very cosy and nicely decorated, but the thing I want to highlight most is the incredible amount of hospitality that we were given throughout our stay there. Our guide and driver Jovi showed us so many special places in and around Yogyakarta, and Frans (the owner) helped us incredibly well when we were facing some logistical problems due to Idul Fitri. But what is most present for me is how well everybody tried to make us a perfect time and how they tried to fulfill the needs of a 5 year old (and not always easy to handle) child. How well they did that, showed me a conversation I had with my son shortly after we left the place: when I told him that I was gonna write a review where I can give 1 to 5 stars for our stay, I asked him: „how many stars should I give? From 1 (very bad) to 5 (very good)“ - His answer: „1.000!“ :-)

We had a wonderful 6-day stay with Frans in a joglo that was very comfortable and well-equipped. Best of all it overlooked Mount Merapi, which actually became active the morning before we were leaving! Frans ran around to all the villas to let guests know so they wouldn’t miss it! We organized all our tours through Frans and were fortunate enough to have Hastono as our driver/guide for all of them. He was without a doubt one of the best drivers we have ever had, anticipating our needs, attending to the minutest detail, and generally making sure that we had a fantastic time! He spoke very good English and was well travelled. We enjoyed our time with him very much and hope to be able to visit more of Indonesia with him in the future! All of the staff are lovely. The villa was also very good value, with breakfast, laundry, transfers, etc. included! We also had several outstanding massages in the villa. Frans is a very gracious host, ensuring that all his guests enjoy their stay fully. Some guests return year after year for lengthy stays! We also hope to return! Thanks Frans!

Great hospitality and service, best in the region! Frans and his staff will do anything to make your stay memorable and as comfortable as possible. From a couple of days to weeks, they always have a suggested program with fun and interesting activities. But also feel free to make requests of your own. Been here 3 times now, and will keep coming back whenever we are in the area.

Simply amazing! A friend recommeded this villa to us after staying there a couple of years ago and heading there was definitely an excellent choice. This was one of the most beautiful and serene places we stayed at during our trip. We had an entire "bungalow" to ourselves which was spacious and beautifully decorated. The place was clean and homey too. What amazed us was the attention to details provided by the team. From a 'small surprise' when we arrived, flexible rides to/from the city, to delicious meals at the accomodation, we really couldn't ask for more! Apart from that, the team was always happy to recommend places to go and were more than willing to show us small treasures in the city. Thank you so much Tono, Frans and Anton! :D

Een heerlijk verblijf gehad bij Alamanda Villas . Heerlijk rustige locatie met uitstekend personeel en fantastische verzorging. Hier kan alles en moet niets! In overleg kan vanalles geregeld worden en zijn er auto’s beschikbaar met chauffeur/gids om de omgeving te verkennen. Wij zijn opgehaald vanaf Bali ,hebben voordat we in Alamanda kwamen ,door OostJava gereisd met een gids/chauffeur ,werkzaam bij Alamanda Villas. Alles perfect geregeld! Daarna een maand in Yogya verbleven en ook daar veel gezien en gedaan. Een plek voor een uitstekend verblijf met heel goede verzorging, lief en zorgzaam personeel, aangestuurd door een vriendelijke, behulpzame Frans, die veel weet over Indonesie en daar boeiend over kan vertellen! Een absolute aanrader om hier te verblijven als je houdt van gemoedelijkheid en Indonesie wilt leren kennen.

Questo luogo, appena fuori Yogyakarta, ci sentiamo di consigliarlo a chiunque, ma soprattutto a famiglie con bambini. Franz e tutto il suo staff vi sorprenderanno per la gentilezza, per la modalità easy con cui asseconderanno ogni vostro desiderio e vi guideranno nella scelta delle attività. Se prenotate sul loro sito avrete possibilità di transfert, laundry e prima cena gratis. In camera boccione con acqua sempre fresca, set per the e caffè. Le villa sono spaziose, pulite, con gradevole affaccio su risaie e Monte Merapi. In bagno tutto l’indispensabile, compreso un ottimo phon! Nessuna zanzara :-) piscina con acqua gelida. Abbiamo sempre cenato da Rosella, ottima cucina. La colazione è incantevole, sopratutto quando servita all’alba. Ottima l’organizzazione dei tour, grazie ancora al nostro driver speciale Tono. Strepitoso il rapporto qualità-prezzo di tutto. Terima kashi!
