Herceg Vila

Landlady was great, room really comfortable. Location near to river great. Breakfast great. All in all if visiting Trebinje, you can't go wrong. Although if travelling by car may be challenge as no road signs. Also has cafe/bar during day. Partly reason for great review is Trebinje is really good stop.

What a treat! What a treat! This was our second visit to Herceg Vila and I have to say it only gets better. We hadn’t planned on returning to Trebinje but our souls and bodies were needing the quiet, mellow atmosphere this place offers so we booked a few nights. Without doubt their beds are the most comfortable we’ve encountered on this trip. It made it hard to get up and go downstairs for breakfast. However the breakfast are so good we didn’t want to miss out. The location of Herceg Vila makes it easy to explore the city or just sit on the balcony and watch the river. It’s always a win win when you stay here. Thank you Mina and Goren.

Our stay was faultless! We weren't sure what to expect before arriving with their few tripadvisor reviews, however upon arrival realized that the hotel appears to be quite new and reason thus far for limited reviews. The room was new, well-appointed, the bed very comfortable, and there were many thoughtful touches (i.e., complimentary chocolates and bottled waters). Things that make stays just that much more seamless and comfortable for us were all present (e.g., water pressure and temperature were consistently great, the drapes made the room nice and dark, and the parking lot was new, onsite, and spacious (which was very nice after many prior days of tight maneuverings with the car)). Very pretty views of the river from our balcony. Breakfast was very lovely and fresh with several options to choose from so you won't need to repeat if staying for several days. It was also super nice to take breakfast in the room and look out over the river while eating delicious crepes and fruit! In addition, the hotel owners were genuinely kind, always available to help either in-person or through the booking app, and gave great recommendations and connections for monasteries, activities, etc., and even helped us to make some dinner reservations.

I am fortunate to be able to travel widely and often. I cannot think of anywhere with such a warm and hospitable welcome as that provided by the wonderful Mina and her marvellous staff. The breakfast is superb with freshly squeezed orange juice, delicious pancakes, fresh fruit, and an assortment of jam and honey. A wonderful experience. Un hotel pequeño, con ambiente familiar. Instalaciones modernas y confortables. El desayuno de 10, presentado con delicadeza. Una delicia las frutas del desayuno. La persona que lo regenta es muy amable y buena consejera para poder disfrutar de la ciudad. Es una opción muy aconsejable de alojamiento, para repetir.
