Our son has his wedding in the majestic Thursday and o my god it was amazing. The manager Laura what can I say you excellent greeting us making sure we had everything. It was a fantastic few days. well Done Laura to you and your Staff for making its so special for us and all our family

Gorgeous food had a vegetarian dish. Setting is gorgeous. So relaxing. We were here at christmas too and the decorstions and atmosphere were lovely. Easy parking. Service was excellent by all staff especially Colm. Looking forward to going back and planning to stay the next time.

I stayed here for one night while on tour of Ireland. Rooms were spotless, roomy, lovely toiletries. The view from the room of the sea fabulous. Breakfast was awesome huge variety of hot and cold food. 3 course Dinner was excellent, one tour guest was very rude and condescending to young waitresses about a dinner roll leaving waitresses humiliated and embarrassed. I found the Staff very professional, accommodating, friendly and very helpful. I do hope the manager reassures waitresses and staff for a job well done. Highly recommended.

We were staying local and decided to have our dinner here. There was a group of 8 and we were greeted by a young lad from Northern Ireland. He was fantastic and made sure we had everything while looking after everyone else in the bar. Excellent quality food and highly recommend

Had lunch in the Majestic and the food was excellent. The manager Colm was in charge of the service and it was 5 star. The service crew were very well trained. The view out to Tramore Bay was amazing and the decor of the room was very nicely done.Looking forward to visiting again soon.

Lovely hotel, great views from the lobby and bar. The staff were so friendly, especially the bar staff and the food was gorgeous, lots of choice and good value. Hotel is in ideal location minutes from the beach, arcades and shops. We have booked to go back again in the summer.

We went to the restaurant. Nobody helped us settle in at the table, including a wheelchair user. There was only one menu shared between 6 people, brought the other menus 10 minutes later. The worst part was the bill, as the food was dry we ordered gravy and received a gravy boat with barely 3 tablespoons, this cost €2. We’ve never experienced a charge for extra gravy (if it’s dry food there should be a gravy boat provided). The disability ramp was almost impossible to use, not good for wheelchair users. It was hard to move on it and I had to use full body strength just to push the wheelchair to the entrance.

All the bedrooms are nice and clean, we paid a bit extra, and had a lovely view of Tramore Bay, the breakfast was the best in the whole of Ireland, easy parking opposite the hotel. Tramore is great for long or short walks, there are some nice restaurants nearby, and the city of Waterford is only a short drive.

I’ve had many previous stays at the Majestic. Sadly, this will be my last.
We were advised at check-in that there would be a Christmas party with a live band playing until 1am. Incredibly myself & my young children were given a room on the first floor, proximate to the ballroom. Thus we didn’t get to sleep until the festivities ended. My request to switch to a higher floor was denied. We also thought that the room wasn’t pristine, there were stains on the bed runner and a hairband from a previous guest left under the bed.
At 3am the fire alarm sounded; the guy on reception was gruff & unhelpful when we rang. This alarm continued for 10 mins. No apology was offered at checkout, we had to raise the issue. We hadn’t hot water in the morning, reception disputed this rather than investigating. Really indifferent response to our problematic stay. Not the hotel it used to be
