The hotel is wonderful. We booked the suite with terrace, absolutely perfect. Very elegant French, Burgundy old Bourgeoisie style decor with all the modern amenities. Most of the employees speak English and a few multiple foreign languages. The “regular” rooms are as elegant and comfortable. The staff is very classy yet very friendly, they will do their best to accommodate you. We asked if we could have a sun umbrella for our terrace, they had it all set up in no time and with a smile. The hotel restaurant, “Le Cloître “ is fabulous, gourmet, a must! The spa is one of the prettiest and most enjoyable ones we have encountered. The pool is a bliss, surrounded by large bay windows, the sensory shower delightful. The spa services are excellent also. To thoroughly enjoy your experience at “Les Sept Fontaines” you must do the wine tasting, this is the best place to discover amazing Burgundy wines. We travel a lot, the “Sept Fontaines” is on top of our list. I am French, we regularly stay at lovely hotels when we visit family and friends in France, this is the best quality hotel, through and through.

Le Rempart is a 3 star hotel of 34 rooms including 11 suites affiliated to Hotels and Preference and located in the middle of Burgundy- near of the highway 6. Excellent location in between the Netherlands and south of France , Spain. Tournus is beautiful and has many fine restaurants. The hotel is in the middle of town and has its own gated parking . The service of the hotel is outstanding; super friendly. Rooms are comfortable and have it all , from comfortable beds till espresso machine. On top a super price quality !

Not memorable, not bad. Just OK. The best thing about the hotel is its location, less then 5 minutes from the moterway, but very quiet. The receptionist was very helpful and spoke good English. But why did she insist we had to tell her what time we were coming down for breakfast? The room was very small, but we'll maintained and clean. Our knee's touched the wall when sitting on the loo. It was also dated with its flock wallpaper.  They only gave us towels for one, and had to ask for more. The shower was not thermaly controlled, so you could easily scald yourself if not carful. It was also powerful. Before booking I emailed them in English asking if they had lifts to the rooms. The replay I received back was in French. Very strange. Google translate told me they had no lift but they had rooms on the ground floor. We had a room on the ground floor which is what we asked for.
