I traveled with my best friend, it was our first time on Sardinia. We booked "adults only" and were well treated from the first hello to goodbyes. Extremely well. Front desk staff were all familiarly friendly, and helpful, nice to talk to, smiling charming Italians. Now this was expensive stay in one of the best rooms with a seaview from the top. It all came with a twist off friendliness and heartwarming helpfullness. Same with the included breakfast: breathtaking view, polite and nice staff, a young italian chef preparing omelettes off fresh countryside eggs, Rumanian waiters were friendly and professional. Everything impeccably set, both the serving and tables. Fantadtic bread and cornetti, cold cuts, fruits, cheeses and all! What a bliss for a breakfast. Downunder in Monte Turri Resort was a dinner buffet we paid for on daily basis. The food was excellent with great variation- to start with. Last days the quality dropped somewhat, but this is understandable when it comes to last days of season, it might be as well my subjective feeling - there was a boisterous, ill- mannered group of tourists. There were other options too, adults only serve sumptuous five course dinners- I didnt do the dinner simply because I am a chef and work with this myself, it was more fun snd entertaini g to take the buffet which had everything your heart desires. The beach underneath is sunwarm cliffs around a quiet bay, surrounded by beautiful cliffs. Also here and by the pools the staff excelled, with kindness and service-mindedness. There are very nice guards by pools and the bay. In all this was a great treat, uplifted by the fantastic staff. Above all this: wild donkeys and mufflons linger in the area. Please take the panoramic walk on Arbatax Nature Park. Enjoy the peace and quiet surronding this ambient, clean and cosy hotel. Pay the little extra for " adults only", enjoy the quiet mornings, sunrises, sunset dinner, spot whales, sleep well in the airconditioned comfort, enjoy your freshly baked pastries, smile! Take a plunge in the pool or the sea, buy locally produced items like textiles and ceramics for a dime in the shop, prices are 30% lower than in Elmas Airport. Dolce far niente- sweetness of do- nothing. Gentilemente grazie, I had an relaxing stay in your care!

I have been trying to contact the hotel several times (8 emails and several Instagram messages) about a complaint/refund but they are ignoring me so please see the email below. Maybe they will now pay attention and actually reply: Dear Madam/Sir, We booked a stay at the Monte Turri Hotel on Saturday 9th Sept including the spa for 2 people. Firstly, we were not aware that the spa is a considerable distance from the hotel itself. This was not clear anywhere on your website. Secondly, we booked the spa session with Stefano at reception for 11am on Sunday 10th Sept. The next morning we arrived at the spa (which was not easy to find! we spent 45 mins trying to get there) only to be told that we didn't have a reservation and that the water heater was broken so only a couple of the pools were working. At this point we were hot, stressed and just wanted to leave. The overall experience was meant to be relaxing on the last day of our holiday but it was extremely stressful. We then had to get back to the hotel in extreme heat. Both the man at the spa and Stefano said that they did not have the authority to issue a refund for the spa. So I am asking you to please issue me with a refund, as the spa was not fully functioning and was a complete waste of our time. I would also like to say a couple of things about the hotel. Stefano was very friendly at the reception and we were very happy with our room. The way it was decorated was very nice and the bed was very comfortable. The view from the restaurant was spectacular but there were some issues. It was so dark that you could not see the food on your plate. And speaking of the food, I would say it was the worst meal we'd had during our stay in Sardegna... and the most expensive!. Very basic, too much salt, and the most tasteless dessert I have ever had. The 2 young people serving were very nice and knowledgeable. But the older man was aggressive, rude and tried to give me fish when I told the staff I was allergic to fish! He then stood in front of us at the table and had an argument with the waitress about it. She was very embarrassed and we felt very uncomfortable. The sommelier stepped in to help and to take the fish away from me before I ate it. The older waiter was also very rude and aggressive in the morning during the breakfast serving, so much so that we wanted to leave as quickly as possible. I think he needs to have some training in how to deal with the public. You have a very nice hotel there but I'm afraid it feels badly organised and poor quality when it comes to the service and the food in the restaurant. If you could please give us our refund for the spa asap I would be grateful. Regards Natalie

This hotel is part of a group of hotels. It is has the most stunning views and the restaurant was first class. The staff are friendly and were willing to help find places for us to visit ringing the different places for us (since we did not speak Italian). The room was comfortable with a veranda and more like a suite compared to other hotels. It was a bit basic (for example to no USB ports, basic TV services...). There is a stony beach at the bottom of the resort. The food there was also amazing thought the barman / chef was a bit temperamental (still added to the entertainment). You'll also get a lot of exercise making your way back to the hotel as there is no buggy service. You also have access to the other hotels' services though they tend to be busier and more for families. Also the food is less pleasant. Overall great place for a long weekend / short break.

A perfect location for a peaceful holiday. Most of staff were amazing (Simone and Graziano, and the gentleman at the bar). The rooms were nice, equipped with a fridge and coffee maker; super comfy beds, slippers, bathrobes and even beach towels were provided. Lovely views included :) As for criticism, would suggest to extend breakfast by also offering poached eggs and crepes ( the chef was there to prepare omelets or fried eggs so I think he could do this extra bit also); pastries could also be improved a bit :)

My fiancee and I stayed here for 2 nights in the middle of our 1 week trip to Sardinia. We wanted to celebrate our engagement as we didnt get to do it during Covid etc. I was very impressed with the old buildings and the relaxed feel around the place. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The view from the breakfast and dinner terrace is unreal and both of us were smiling constantly. We are beach people so we didnt use the pool. To get to the beach is all downhill and to get back we would ring the golf cart taxi and we were brought back in no time. The beach area is perfect for chilling and swimming. It has a raised deck built into the hill and can fit around 20 sunloungers and umbrellas, get down before 10 to get one. The only negative i would d have is the aircon, it was borderline ok for us.It needs to be improved. I would recommend this place for a couples retreat. If i was booking again i would stay for an extra day or two.

Below is a copy of the feedback we sent the hotel. The location is spectacular. Perhaps if we had not seen the hotel years before in better condition we would not have been so disappointed. We were at the resort 5 years ago staying in Borgo, the resort below. We had dinner and drinks at monte turri and we asked to see the rooms, decided it was fantastic and that we would come back one day. We arrived back on the 29th of June 2022 and were been disappointed repeatedly. It’s a real shame as the hotel is special. Firstly I want to say that the house keeping were fantastic. Alesandro and Tonino were also attentive waiting staff. The bar tenders were also very friendly and professional although looked very uncomfortable being forced to wear such a ridiculous, warm uniform considering it was boiling hot and they don’t even have air con. Cruel. The food was a disappointment, it seemed most of the guests we spoke to were equally unimpressed. We were served a blue steak when it was ordered medium, a sorbet that was served hot.. the lobster was tasteless, in fact all the meals were bland..the list goes on. We arrived and were given a very small room - even though I paid for the most expensive room option on your website. The room was too small to comfortably open our bags and was not what had been advertised. The air conditioning was broken throughout the whole building. The first night especially was very hard to sleep. The rooms are advertised as air conditioned. We moved rooms the second day to a ground floor room. This is a bigger room and the air conditioning is better but still inadequate and we were kept awake at night because of it. This malfunction causes the room to stay humid, towels never dry and the bed sheets feel damp. You are also always greeted with a damp smell as you enter the rooms. You don’t want to put your clothes in the closet as they may start to smell damp. This must have been a problem for a while because the paint on the ceiling is occasionally starting to flake onto the bed sheets. When we sit on the bed these flakes make marks on our clothes. The staff apologise and are aware of the problem but nothing changes. During our week long stay we were told the air conditioning would be fixed but it never was Breakfast at borgo 5 years ago was always great. My girlfriend always said “the breakfast in that hotel was the best we have had”. Monte turri being the more expensive option meant we felt comfortable that the breakfast would be at least as good. On the first day we were disappointed. Flys everywhere. Limited selection. Only 2 options for eggs. Stale bread. This is so basic that I find it embarrassing and it made me angry. We throw away stale bread at home. Is it so hard to have fresh bread in the morning? Clearly nobody cares about the product being offered. Occasionally some of the rolls would be fresher but it’s almost as if nobody is checking the fresh order has been put out. The toaster

We had a fantastic stay at Blau. Monte Turri. The hotel is located on a hill overlooking the Blue and tourquise Mediterranean sea and private beach...its an amazingly beautiful view! hotel is very cozy and clean, beds so comfortable, and - 3 swimming pools to choose from ! The staff - Alesandria, Ara, Mario, were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast and dinner was very good with a wonderful view of the sea and the service by the waiters Antonio and Alexander was excellent. Whole experience was amazing. Great stay, beautiful butique hotel with cozy, very clean and well designed rooms. Amazing swimming pool that is covered so possible to use even when worse weather condition. Breakfast is very delicious with amazing view and service. Whole experience was amazing I really recommend.

The hotel is situated in stunning nature and is really peaceful. The staff are amazing. The food was delicious and the service was top notch. Felt well taken care of. Not a hotel for family’s with young children. This made it a real getaway. The hotel is also a perfect place to go hiking from.
