Je suis choqué de cet hôtel. Comme j’étais de passage à malaga pour prendre l avion je me suis retrouvé dans un hôtel dont y’a rien qui m’a plu en terme de service

Caos a la hora de deyayunar y cenar… demasiada gente…

Had a holiday last year to this hotel. Was a bit busy with children even though it was school holiday. Food was OK, room was pretty standard with a weird bathroom. Had to do a jump.almost to get to the loo. Entertainment was geared around children. Either had to sit outside or inside when there was minimal seating. Staff were a bit hit and miss worki g bit did t want a conversation. Had a nice massage at the on site beauty place. Went into Toremolinos a couple of times. The town is busy woth bars, food places and lively music. Shops were open late but a lot the same selling items. Beach area was nice and walk back to hotel was all up hill. Plenty of taxis and buses around though. Malaga was really lovely, Benalmedina, Granada was lovely. Tour buses are good to see the sites too. Stunning views when you get a bit further put. Need a car and they are a good price.

The room and service was much better than I expected. Everyone was so kind and welcoming - we felt at home even though it was only for 5 days. Definitely worth going again.

We had a fantastic family room. The beds are really comfortable. We had 4 beds, sofa, small desk, and as it was a corner room we had 2 balconies (room 906). Although it is about a mile from the sea, we were on the 9th floor so had a lovely view of the sea. The room was spotlessly clean and was serviced every day. The buffet is ok. As we were a large family party of 11 we had fully inclusive and there is something available all day at one venue or another. The food was a bit monotonous, almost the same every day, but we never went hungry. The water in the pools was really cold. There is a free shuttle bus to the town and beach but you had to que early to get on it and it stops at 6pm, so if you wanted to have time on the promenade in the evening you would need to get a taxi back which was only around 8 euros, or walk it which took around 25 minutes. The thing that let it down was the evening entertainment. It started with half an hour for children, after which there was 1 game of bingo then some nights a 'show', featuring Spanish dancers, which were really good. The problem was, the 'disco' music which was next. They only played Spanish music, which seemed to suit all the Spanish staying in the hotel (there were a lot), but they did not cater at all for other nationalities. I think we only heart 3 songs in the whole week that we knew, and one of them was because one of our party requested a Queen song. I mentioned it to one of the 'entertainment' crew but it didn't help. We also found most of the Spanish residents quite rude. They pushed in at every opportunity and were unfriendly, which is not something we have experience when we have visited other Spanish cities.

The resort services were great. Clean and neat environment. Hotel staff were helpful and the selection of food was quite good. Though I would have loved to see some more varieties like sandwiches and soups, but I can't really fault the meal selection.

We enjoyed our stay room was big and clean. The staff were friendly. A lot of elderly visitors. Should have a lunch menu for half board visitors as only local shop and fast food place near by. You can walk easily into the main town but with a children you may have to use taxis.

I booked the AluaSun Costa Park through a travel operator and I had no idea what to expect. As the price for my stay was such a good deal, I had low expectations but damn, was I wrong! The rooms are a tad old fashioned but spacious, clean and comfortable. The service at the hotel is of the utmost quality and very consistent: from the receptionists, to the maids, to the waiters.. everyone is helpful, friendly, attentive and going above and beyond! The food buffet is varied and appetising and the food is very good. The swimming pools are great and the small water park is very well placed so that parents can see the kids from the adult pool. There is also a lifeguard who is looking after the kids non stop: making everyone feel very reassured. If you want to go to Torremolinos (5 min drive) but don't have a car, there is also a free shuttle from the hotel! The shuttle comes every hour and brings you to Torremolinos city centre or the beach (2 stops) and brings you back later. There is a Corte Ingles and a Lidl/Aldi 5 min walk from the hotel too for quick shops (if you forgot to bring soap)! Everything was brilliant all around!
