The stay was pleasant, the room was basic but clean missed not having a bath and just a shower missed simple things like a hair dryer in the room although when requested at the reception I was given one and lack of choice of coffee and tea in the room.
It was very nice that there was no noise at night and meant a decent night's sleep.
Breakfast was acceptable, but you have to get there early when it comes out hot from the kitchen, or it is all cold from spending to long under the hot plates. The only big downside is it's a good 30mns walk from the town centre although buses seem to run outside the hotel but there is a good-sized car park if you drive.
The room was small but fine for just my 2 nights stay and acceptable. I'm not sure the room size, lack of luxuries and breakfeast beng hit and miss would make it comfortable for a longer stay.

The hotel is consistently clean, tidy, comfortable and quiet. Good location with easy access to town/amenities. Ample parking at front and back of property which is chargeable but very cheap. Beds are comfortable, staff are pleasant, welcoming and efficient. Stayed on a few occasions and the service and standard has been consistently excellent. Would 100%recommend.

This is a nice hotel with friendly staff. I have enclosed photos of the bathroom. Basic details that need sorting and quite frankly sloppy. The problems should be flagged up by housekeeping.Maybe they were and weren’t actioned by maintenance, or it fell on death ears. I don’t need to explain as the photos tell the story. Despite these minor niggles, it’s a nice hotel and great value.

Horizon parking is shocking we followed all the procedures purchased a ticket and entered our Car reg on the TABLET ON THE RECEPTION WALL :) But because HORIZON PARKING said we did not pay and wanted proof of our ticket OR we would be fined £30 :( So, I phone Torquay reception, and they told us to just quote our Booking reference as this happens a lot, E-Mail Horizon again still asking for proof of our car parking ticket or pay £ 80 :) E-Mail HORIZON again explaining that we followed all the Procedures still no joy and a final demand of £ 80 :( :( :( SO PLZ KEEP YOUR PARKING TICKET) PS WE WILL NOT USE TRAVEL LODGE AGAIN

Staff extremely helpful. Room clean and tidy . No road noise. Meal options limited but what we ordered...veg pizza and salad was delicious. Breakfast good too.
