The staff at the Ritz-Carlton Toronto made this vacation so memorable for our family. From the time we checked in, Devan worked to provide us with an amazing room & make us feel welcome. We appreciate his efforts. Our son turned 8 the day before we arrived. They left a balloon and special dessert for him in the room. We cannot say enough nice things about the Club Lounge staff. Olga, Emma and Oana welcomed us each day and went out of their way to make sure we felt at home. Rose & Pricilla were incredibly kind to get to know our family and ask about any needs we may have had. Rose even had popcorn and snacks sent to our room for a movie night for our family. Additionally, she contacted a special bar (BarChef) nearby to make a reservation. You can tell that it is important that her guests enjoy their experiences. I had the chance to meet the club floor manager, Max Reidel, and he too was extremely gracious with everything. I encourage other travelers to book the Club Lounge for your stay. I spent a day at the spa and was impressed with my massage, the staff and atmosphere. Our family also had the afternoon tea one day - it was delicious! We can't wait to come back. We will book the Club Lounge for sure!

I had some familiarity with the lore of the Fairmont Royal York -- that it was the real deal, king of the classic Canadian grans railway hotels, etc. And when I arrived, my first impression was that perhaps it didn't live up to its formidable reputation. It quickly became clear, however -- from looking at the quality and design of the armchair, the understated colour palette, the quietly sophisticated art hanging on the walls, the sumptuous nature of the robe hanging there in the closet -- that this was a kind of luxury and prestige that didn't feel the need to prove itself. With so many four- and five-star hotels taking part in a glitzy, maximal globalization-era ”look at this, this here, you see, is luxury,” it was truly refreshing to see real self-confidence -- real prestige -- in this kind of vaguely British understated quality. The Fairmont Royal York is the Fairmont Royal York: it will not let you down.

Possibly one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at. However, I can’t give full 5 stars to Hotel St. Regis Toronto for reasons that I’ll explain later. On the subject of location, the Hotel St. Regis in Toronto is in a very fantastic location in downtown Toronto with many of the city’s main sights and attractions (CN Tower, St. Lawrence’s Market and Yonge-Dundas square) all within short walking distance from this hotel. Readily accessible through RideShare apps too. Regarding staff, they were super friendly and helpful, in our experience. We initially had some debit card issues at check-in and admittedly, we should have been better-prepared for the credit card culture in North America. Thankfully, St. Regis were very flexible and our debit card issues were eventually resolved. I’m truly impressed by how accommodating St. Regis are for those of us who are from places that very rarely use credit cards. The offer of complimentary water at check-in was also appreciated. The housekeeping team, especially the Filipinos, were very thorough, kept our suite spotless and respected guest privacy. And on check-out experience, this is where St. Regis Toronto loses points for me. The check-out process took way longer than what is typically expected especially for a 5-star location (should be ＜10 min but took about 30 min for us). Unfortunately, a bit of the little time we have left in Toronto was wasted. What’s also disappointing was this time, there was no offer of complimentary drinks (even tap water, which is free and generally safe to drink in Toronto) while we wait. Admittedly, the staff seemed overwhelmed and visibly stressed during the time we were trying to check-out but I hope the situation improves for the St. Regis Toronto team in the future. On the atmosphere, it was magnificent and luxurious. These two words came to mind when we first entered the lobby. The grandiose look of Hotel St. Regis in Toronto permeated the whole building, from the hallways to our suite. In terms of our room, we booked the Grand Suite which was on the 28th floor and the views from up there, especially at night, were phenomenal. Our suite was very spacious and generally had plenty of storage room. St. Regis Toronto also loses some points here when it comes to storage since we found that there was insufficient storage space for cold items and there was no freezer either. The heated floors and the walk-in shower were also fantastic. The accent wall, mood lighting, clever use of marble for the room design and chandeliers were wonderful touches too, contributing to the luxurious atmosphere of this hotel. The living area of the Grand Suite was our favourite area, especially at night. I’m going to mention the views from the Grand Suite again as they were truly spectacular. On the online engagement. at the time of writing, I found the low level of engagement by St. Regis Toronto with online reviewers here at Google disappointing. The location is vary good and the price is not too expensive.Though, there's no refrigerator in the room and you can have the ice cubes at the corner of the same floor. And the fertilities of the room are quite dilapidated, like the carpet with dirt ,the water volume of the faucet is not easy to control.....

We had a great stay at the Omni King Edward! Our room was huge, clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful, and afternoon tea was yummy. The location can’t be beat. It’s close to many restaurants and a short walking distance to attractions like St. Lawrence Market, the Hockey Hall of Fame, Scotiabank Arena, Eaton Centre, etc. We didn’t need to use our car during our stay.

Because the hotel is just across the road and close to the subway station, the facilities introduced are also good, so I chose this hotel without hesitation. After I stayed, I felt very bad. It was the worst hotel I stayed in in Canada. I checked in the first night. We checked in at Niagara Falls and it was almost nine o'clock in the evening. We booked a double bed. The room was gone, and Ctrip could only change rooms the next day after the negotiation, and the trouble caused naturally need not be said; the next morning, I found that there was a reminder of the consumer text message at 3 o'clock in the hotel on the credit card. How to get it out was inexplicable, and it scared me to quickly close the credit card transaction function. Later, I was fortunate to have Ctrip help to solve it in a timely manner; I finally changed to a twin room the next night. Unexpectedly, this room was near the subway and it was too noisy to sleep all night . Fortunately, we stayed at this hotel for only two days! The most profound lesson is that when you deposit at the front desk of the hotel lobby, do not leave your credit card with your credit card, and do not easily give it to the front desk customer service. Special thanks also to Ctrip's customer service for helping to solve all the problems effectively and timely!

We think that our DELUXE room is oddly set-up. The bed is in the middle of the room. TV is in front of the bed. You can watch TV if you are in bed or sitting at a narrow table behind the headboard. The sofa is against the wall & faces the back of the TV. The worst feature is a low wall separating the bath from the rest of the room. There is a privacy curtain.. The result is that there is no sound or good light separation between the bath & bed. Any sound in the bath room will be heard by the other person in the room. The refrigerator is a square one with not much room. No coffee machine or microwave. Free coffee & hot water downstairs in the morning but that was not mentioned on checking in. A big bath but no separation between toilet & the rest; the toilet faces the shower. .Separate shower & tub. The shower could use some minor repair. For us the big tub is a waste of space. Parking is cheap nights & weekends, both next door & two blocks away. It is $4/hr week days. Surprisingly the room is quiet even though it is a corner one on Spadina. Unable to upload photo.

I especially like this hotel, the price is right, the location is in the core area of Chinatown, this is the second stay. This time I made an appointment at carpool. The hotel entrance is very wide, suitable for parking luggage on board, because the appointment will arrive at three in the afternoon, and it is still far from the check-out time at eleven o'clock. I didn't expect the hotel also provided a place for free luggage, great!

Either I have been in different place or the place changed a lot. Travelers home was clean, like hospital clean. You cannot walk in in your shoes (which is good) and there are fines for everything that gets broken, so maybe the approach changed over last year. It was not big, but as I mentioned - clean, with laundromat and close to the city center. Good for few nights stay.

This is an update to a previous review. We travel a good deal and have decided to only write a review when we really think things are exceptional. This is just to say that since our rave review we have been back a number of times, both as a family and alone, and nothing about the hotel has let us down. The hotel and service staff are next level. The design, comfort, cleanliness, food/bar offerings and location are fantastic. We are sensitive to indoor air quality and that part is never a problem at the ACE. Best of all we always have a great sleep. Thanks again Ace hotel for giving these ex-Torontonians a place we really look forward to coming to. It’s really our favourite hotel in the city.

I stayed with Samesun in Toronto in Mars 2023. They have a 24 h open reception. The check in went smoothly, the rooms, bathrooms and showers were clean! You have a charger and a small lamp by your bed and curtains to separate yourself from the other’s. The best thing about the stay was the free of charge breakfast in the morning! Coffee, bagels, waffles, cereal, fruit etc.. so nice.

The location of the hotel is near downtown and the BMO stadium. There were races in the stadium during our stay and we had serious traffic jams for our two evenings. The facilities in the room is relatively old. Though it has a kitchen, it provides no pans, saucepans and kettle and literally, not a functioning one. There is a coffee machine, refrigerator and iron. The ice-making function of the refrigerator is the best part of the hotel. The view of the room is not desirable, as it faces the electrical cable of the hydro electrical plant. The breakfast is fine, while the services were nice.
