The hotel was very well located near gotanda station. Udo the receptionist greeted me at the lobby was very friendly and explained all the information I requested for patiently. The toilet was adequate but nothing fantastic. The room just about had enough room for 2 people. The onsen was nothing to rave about and only had 2 pools one indoor and 1 outdoor and the area was very small. Good enough stay but not sure if its commensurate with the price to say it was value for money.

The location is perfect, directly connected to Haneda, next to train station and plenty of good and cheap food around till late. This delicious dumpling shop is near the hotel

This hotel is great, room was nice, structure and services too. Position is ok just the neighbor is kinda “ ************ area” but no danger and no problem, just not my favorite environment.
Everyday cleaning with new pajamas was great too.
Wifi work perfectly and you have everyday free water bottles in the room.
About the position is 4 min by walk to JR line, connecting you to Shibuya in 12 min (170¥) and Tokyo station in about 20 min which is great.

Fantastic front desk service. Was a little challenging getting to the hotel from Gotanda station as we did not spot the escalator that connects the station platform to Level 4 of Tokyu Square. Instead, we exited form the ground floor of the station and ended up having to negotiate several road crossings to get to the hotel. Tip of the connection was shared by the front desk staff upon check in. Perhaps this could have been communicated to guests earlier.
Breakfast staff was rather stern when we hit the 10am mark. We had to end our breakfast abruptly as an elderly female staff came, gestured and remarked ‘stop!’ My family was taken aback. I understand the Japanese sense of urgency when it comes to time, but perhaps the staff could be more gentle especially when it comes to family with kids?
Otherwise, fantastic room, great location, value for money.

Room is clean and room is decent size for JP hotels. Distance to JR line is close. You can exit thru a mall for a shortcut. Spa is well loved by the family.

Wonderful hotel at a remarkably good location.
Gotanda is not often on the list for visitors to Tokyo, but it is on both Yamamote Line and Toei Asakusa Line (with direct train services to Narita Airport!). Super convenient - 15 mins to either Shinjuku or Ginza, 25 mins to Ikebukuro or Akihabara.
The hotel comes with free rooftop bath houses - another rare find in Tokyo.
Lots of amenities and very helpful reception people.
Room is big - for Japan standard. My mother was impressed by the size even as a seasoned traveller to Japan.
10/10 five stars!
