The Grand Yala Hotel

The place is very nice.. small place but with very friendly host and staff. Their rooms are good. The pillows are excellent. The dip in their swimming pool is very relaxing. They try their best to make yummy food to your taste and liking.

We stayed one night in this great place after enjoying the safari. The swimming pool is beautiful, just surrounded by trees, bushes and flowers. The rooms are massive and are well equiped with fans and A/C. All the beds have mosquito nets. We had dinner, lunch and breakfast there and even though the menu is simple, the quality of the food is amazing. The staff was always very friendly and looking after us at all times. A very nice and enjoyable stay.

Great hotel with family feeling. Spacious rooms, friendly staff, good swimming pool. Excellent choice when visiting the Yala park and want to stay overnight. We were four friends staying in Feb and all of us were satisfied. The food was good.

Stayed at The Great Yala Hotel for just 1 night. The very large room with a large balcony, a large swimming pool. The food at the restaurant was good too, including the friendly staff it will make me stay here again when I do visit Yala and / or Bundala.

Piccolo e caratteristico hotel in mezzo alla natura ma a 2 passi dal centro. Noi eravamo 2 coppie e ci hanno dato 2 stanze al piano superiore con il terrazzo in comune, attenzione al cliente che abbiamo apprezzato molto. All'arrivo ci è stato offerto un succo fresco di benvenuto. Camere molto grandi arredate semplicemente con tutto l'essenziale, doccia ampia con box, letto a baldacchino con zanzariera, biancheria pulita ma con un odore un po' strano. È presente anche una piscina. Abbiamo anche usufruito del ristorante, tutto cucinato sul momento e quindi si deve attendere, ma l'attesa sarà ripagata dalla bontà del cibo servito. Per evitare di fare aspettare il cliente, il gestore chiede in anticipo cosa si vuole consumare per farlo trovare pronto quando si arriva, altrimenti si ordina sul momento e si aspetta. Colazione buona e abbondante comprensiva di uova, pane tostato, burro e marmellata, frittelle tipiche dello sri lanka (volendo con condimento di lenticchie al curry) e the con latte. Insomma non è sicuramente un 5 stelle ma per i canoni locali e il posto in cui si trova è un'ottima struttura. In più il personale è davvero molto gentile e disponibile.

Un bel hotel situato all'interno di un giardino con piscina e molteplici piante da frutto a fare da contorno. La stanza di per sé non suscita particolari emozioni, però il terrazzo con affaccio sulla piscina merita decisamente. Ho avuto modo anche di cenare e qui ho mangiato il migliore riso con curry del mio intero soggiorno in Sri Lanka. Posizione non distante dal parco Yala.

Wir hatten einen Nacht hier in dem familieren Hotel auf unserer Tour verbracht. Die Gartenanlage mit dem außergewöhnlich großen und sauberen Pool ist wunderschön. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Vielen Dank

Wir, eine vierköpfige Familie (Kinder 11/14 Jahre) waren nur für eine Nacht im The Grand Yala Hotel. Der Besitzer spricht sehr gut englisch, er und seine Angestellten sehr zuvorkommend und aufmerksam. Als wir Interesse an der aktuellen Situation in Sri Lanka zeigten, erklärte der Besitzer uns ausführlich die Problematik zwischen dem Volk, der Wirtschaftslage und den stark angestiegenen Lebenspreisen. Der Pool war gepflegt und sauber. Zimmer und Bad dem landesüblichen Standard entsprechend. Auf der Veranda hatten wir eine fette Couch zum reinsinken und entspannen. Das Hotel hat zwei Bungalows mit jeweils zwei Zimmern im Parterre und zwei Zimmer im 1. Stock. Wir waren im Parterre. Das Yala Grand Hotel ist ideal um 1-2 Nächte zu verbringen. Wir taten es im Rahmen unserer Safari im Yala- Nationalpark und würden wieder dort absteigen.

Приезжали в ялу на сафари. Остановились на одну ночь. Соотношение цена качество просто топ. Есть бассейн, это прям топ. Внутри кафе, готовят вкусно, так что не ходили никуда. Есть алкоголь, хотя в меню нет.
