Hotel Shaans

The staff at the reception and cafe were very friendly. Mr Sharu and Mr Richard were very helpful with our check-in and during our stay . Food at the hotel was fresh and very nice. Overall all the staff members and the hotel itself were a wonderful experience. We will definitely come back to Shaans Hotel Trichy

This is my third time to stay at Hotel Shaans, Trichy. I keep coming back because of the warmth of the welcome and the complete attention to making my stay comfortable. Thanks to Richard, Govind and the team for exceptional service...nothing is too much trouble and rates are very reasonable. The restaurant food and service are outstanding. Nandri, nandri. I stayed here ***** with my friend on 19-20/12/2023. We were allocated rooms 211 & 212. Rooms have good space. Beds’ linens were clean. Toiletries were provided. But towels were not clean. There were cockroaches seen roaming on and around dressing mirrors. Hot water was not coming in room 212. The more disgusting thing is their unhygienic kitchen and their staff. During breakfast on 20/12/2023, we saw cooks were preparing egg-omelettes and dosas on same tava. We ordered for dosa. They prepared on egg-omelettes’ used tava. We refused to have breakfast. When we complained to Front Manager, he initially laughed at me and refused to admit it. Then Duty Manager came at reception and he admitted his kitchen staff undoings. But he didn’t apologise neither did he compensate us for this undoing and inconvenience caused to us. I am strict vegetarian. Their undoing and unprofessional approach has shattered me and my belief. The act is unconstitutional and it is a sort of criminal act. I have lodged complaint in their feed back form. I decided I will never stay here.

I stayed in this hotel for 5days with family. The hotel is a small but descent one. It is in the main business area about 3.5km from Tiruchirapalli railway station. The hotel serves free breakfast in the morning. There is descent Thai restaurant attached. They serve both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food here. All the staff (both in the restaurant and lodge) are very polite and well groomed. A special mention should be made of Mr Pratha who is the captain in the Thai restaurant. He was very professional in delivering his services. I was greatly impressed by him.

Good stay with good rooms and food was excellent service was also good nice ambience at roof top bar rooms were spacious with good view , you can see rockfort view from the roof top bar good ambience at the 4th floor , a small gym facilities were also available.

I stay two days there. They didn't clean my room until my day end. From 1st day to 2nd day I used same bedsheet ,ohilow cover and towel and ext...*** I inform them while I leaving hotel morning to evening came back the didn't do the job. ***2 nd time I inform to reception they said it will clean now give few minutes. Then also didn't happen. ***Finally I inform by rooms phone call then also didn't get any response. So didn't clean.i felt very bad stay. as a this hotel guest I was very bad 2 days stayed uncleanness I am giving single star to this only for food.

My comments are for the positive outlook for this accommodation. The reception counter will definitely require a face lift. The person Richard at the reception, who served us is a great guy He was very polite and understood that we came in from an exhausting flight almost at mid night and gave us the support we required. Bathroom needs a little renovation and maintenance to up keep the place. Daily breakfast starts at 7:45am which doesnt suit those who would like to leave early for the day. Nevertheless, they offered us coffee before we checked out. Overall it was a short but interesting experience.

The rooms and toilets are clean. The staff is very courteous. Would like to make a special mention of the Proprietor Mr Karuppaiah who is usually there and greets guests with a warm welcome, Mr Richard handles the front office in a professional manner is very courteous , Coffee House Rajesh serves with a smile. Muniyandi also has a good PR. Overall we had a wonderful experience during our two stays within a span of one month. Parking is available in the basement, sometimes if there is function in the party hall it gets full, but they have made additional arrangements in a property next door. There is a nice restaurant that serves Veg & Non veg. Overall we had a very good experience.
