"Fizemos umas férias em Thale e passámos três noites na Villa Alice. Com isso foi o nosso pequeno mops. A localização é muito boa para excursões. Vivemos no apartamento confortável. O apartamento é muito espaçoso e está disponível tudo o que precisa para um tempo relaxado. Uma vez que reservamos com pequeno-almoço e uma vez tivemos o jantar de Luz Candle, não usamos a cozinha. O bem-estar foi utilizado uma vez e podemos recomendá-lo absolutamente. É simplesmente totalmente confortável e você se sente bem quando você entra no campo. O pequeno-almoço também foi muito bom. Foi tudo aqui, quer coração, doce, flocos de milho etc e uma oferta incomum de frutas frescas. A jantar de vela luz foi óptimo e a comida super deliciosa. O serviço é ótimo e simplesmente todo o pessoal muito amável e útil. Você se sente muito bem-vinda e tem a sensação de que todos fazem tudo para uma estadia relaxada. Em suma, não nos falta nada, sentimos-nos bem em torno e pode recomendar a Villa Alice absolutamente. Adoro muito obrigado a toda a equipe por este tempo maravilhoso."

"In short: We spent an entire night in temperatures just above freezing with our 19-month-old daughter. It was freezing cold and drafty because otherwise the stench would have been unbearable. Driving home in heavy snowfall was out of the question for us at that hour. And what shouldn't be forgotten is that this wasn't exactly cheap accommodation. At over €400 for two nights, or €550 with breakfast, you can expect a clean room and, even more importantly, own up to mistakes and face the consequences, namely refunding money that was wrongly withheld because the service wasn't provided. To be more detailed: I primarily want to distance myself from negative reviews simply because people are surprised that an outdoor pool isn't open in winter. I definitely don't fall into that category. However, what my family and I experienced at the Hotelpark Bodetal in early January 2026 is hard to stomach. In forty years of traveling, I've never experienced anything like it. But let's jump back in time together. It was a relatively spontaneous trip for my wife's birthday with our 19-month-old daughter. Having found and booked through ***********, we set off full of anticipation for Thale and the Hotelpark Bodetal on a snowy, cold January day. Everything seemed relaxed at the hotel. We checked into our room in House 8, ground floor, in the afternoon and immediately experienced a nasty surprise. Upon entering the room, we were hit with a musty, cheesy smell. "Well," I thought, "it's cold." Visually, the room looked quite dated, but okay, perhaps the cleaning product had lingered. So, we aired it out thoroughly. Nevertheless, I informed the rather overweight man at reception that the room smelled bad. He evaded the issue by saying that no cleaning staff were currently available, but assured us that the room would be cleaned again the following day. For the time being, I left it at that. Despite repeated offers to experience the smell in the room himself, the gentleman refused to leave the reception desk. Presumably, his work motivation is linked to his interest in physical activity. Since our little one loves water, we promptly went to the Bodetal thermal baths. Upon our return, and despite leaving the windows slightly open for cross-ventilation in the freezing cold, we were greeted upon entering the apartment by our roommate again: the putrid, cheesy stench. I put my nose to work and, with some effort and a bit of patience, managed to locate the suspected culprit in the kitchen. It was lodged in the kitchen sink drain and the overflow of the cutlery tray, as you can see in the attached photos. As is clearly visible in the photos, the culprit in the cutlery tray drain, in particular, had been there for weeks, if not months."
