If you are just looking for somewhere to sleep for one night, this is probably not the place for you, unless you have business at Teuge Airport. If you are looking to spend a romantic time with your loved one and/or you are an aviation enthusiast, this is the perfect place for you. Make sure have plenty of time, or best spend 2 nights, in order to enjoy all the amenities of this one of a kind 'hotel'! Marjan is the perfect host. She even brought my breakfast in the evening (for the fridge), because I had an early start the next day for a flight out of AMS. Unfortunately I was alone on a business trip with not nearly enough time. I will definitely return, with more time and in company. Note: Traffic between Amsterdam and Teuge between 7.00 and 9.00 and between 15.00 and 18.00 is crazy so plan accordingly. You definitely need a car. There are plenty of car rentals available at AMS Airport. There is a restaurant for dinner called 'Take Off' at Teuge Airport that can also easily reached on foot.

This was a once in a lifetime bucket list experience for my husband and I (that we hope to repeat as often as possible!) everything was well thought of and presented beautifully. There is a mini bar with beverages at a price, a dishwasher, a toaster oven, a mini fridge, dishes and silverware, a jacuzzi tub, rain shower, and sauna, plus the cockpit with a scanner so you can listen to ATC! It is noteworthy that if you intend to dine at the hangar next door, it is closed, but takeoff is open just 8 minutes walk away. The hostess will make sure you have everything you need and walk you through all the features, then bring you breakfast in the morning. We will definitely return!!!
