No: 1 the Esplanade Guest Accommodation.

We were only in Tenby for one night and so all we were really looking for was a comfortable bed and a good location, and we got both at No. 1 The Esplanade. The location is great, right opposite the stunning Tenby beach and on the lovely Esplanade. There is a public car park a couple of minutes’ walk away and you can park there overnight (price £10 at the time of writing). Our room wasn’t one of the best (a bit dated) but it was fine for one night and the bed was extremely comfortable so no complaints there. The breakfast room is bright and colourful and there was a good choice of breakfast items available. Graham, the owner, is friendly and helpful.

This is a nice, no-frills hotel great for a short stay in Tenby. The location is ideal, right on the water and adjacent to the heart of the town. The rooms are comfortable and clean and everything you need is provided (except conditioner). They’re a bit stingy with the towels, only 1 bath towel per person; no washcloth or hand towel, and only a bar of soap for hands, which we didn’t want to waste by opening for just a 1-night stay. There’s a nice hot breakfast in the morning served within a short window of time, but it was tasty. My only complaint was that the check-out time was not advised and is not written in the in-room information booklet, and it took nearly 10 minutes of ringing bells and attempting to call someone at the front desk to talk to a person and get the information. I ended my stay a bit frustrated by the lack of presence at the front desk, but still overall enjoyed our stay. I would probably stay here again but would most likely choose a different hotel for a longer stay.

Hotel room was warm, cosy and comfortable, spacious family room, great sea view, hotel landlord was very welcoming, breakfast next day was extremely good with plenty of choice, cooked breakfast came out hot and cooked fresh, highly recommended.

We stayed in the family room, which overlooked the sea which was really nice and the room was very spacious. The bed was very comfortable and clean. However. The heating was on all day and night which made for a very uncomfortable sleep. We used the fan provided but it was so small, old and broken that we couldn’t sleep with it on. The shower was also broken and wasn’t powerful enough to have a wash with. The hairdryer provided was smoking when turned on, but there was a spare one in the drawer. There was also free WiFi, but it didn’t work. The breakfast we had was nice, and many options (toast, bacon sandwich, cereals, fruit etc). The staff were really helpful and approachable. Myself and my partner wanted to stay away for the weekend to recoup and relax but didn’t get a very good night sleep.

Went here for two nights as a couple in March 2024. The hotel was clean, location is superb and staff were polite and helpful. Breakfast isn't huge but was very tasty and service was good. Hotel is a little dated and could do with some updating. When walking through the hotel we could see into some of the rooms when they were being cleaned and they did look lovely. However, ours was small and did needed a freshen up. It wouldn't put me off and I would return to the hotel. Only given it 4 stars as it does need decorating and updating.

Fantastic stay. Graham was very hospitable and chatty, a pleasure to meet him. We were given the choice of two rooms, I let my husband chose which one (for a change!). Both had a sea view, what more can you ask for! The room was clean, very comfortable and huge! Breakfast was delicious. I don’t usually eat a cooked but this was just perfect 👌. Thank you to Graham and his team, we would highly recommend a stay here

First time away on our own for 31 years. Booked this as it looked good & good reviews. How wrong we were. Supposed to be 4* & cost us £250 for 2 nights in room 16. Absolutely disgusting as you can see from the photos. Windows were filty & flaking, broken tiles & holes in bathroom, large stain on carpet, one complimentary bottle of water not replenished daily along with towels as being Eco friendly!! Definitely not worth the money. Had to toast your own bread at breakfast. Stayed in a lot of hotels/B&Bs this was definitely the worst.

Stayed here for my husbands 70th Birthday Surprise gift from our Lovely hotel clean, breakfast was nice Was met by the owner Graham on arrival very pleasant ,polite and helpful .We would diffently stay here again.

The hotel is okay, the location is excellent with beautiful view of ocean. The furniture was old and dusty; breakfast was okay. Price was reasonable, a little high, for the night we stayed.
