We stayed at Woodlands for five nights and enjoyed it immensely. The house has tremendous character, great location and the owner was very kind and welcoming. We would have no hesitation in recommending Woodlands to anyone visiting the area.

I spent two nights at Woodlands B&B last week while visiting a cousin and his wife, who live near Teignmouth. The bedroom was spacious and beautifully furnished, with large en-suite bathroom and a wonderful view of the garden, the town below and views of sea and coast towards Torbay. Breakfast in the huge dining room was like being in a mansion. Everything was in line with what I was expecting from the information on the website. Access to the large lounge is a big plus point and I strongly recommend Woodlands.

Sarah is a gentle and welcoming host. Woodlands is full of charm and character with such an interesting history and in the perfect location for the town and train station. It felt very grand but also homely. Our room and ensuite bathroom was spacious and spotlessly clean with views out to the garden and sea beyond. Sarah offers a great choice for breakfast and all served in a very impressive dining room. We had a very peaceful, comfortable and enjoyable stay and would not hesitate to return. Thank you.

If you're looking for peace & quiet, then this is for you. This was our first time to Teignmouth and our en-suite room at Woodlands was lovely and spacious overlooking the large garden and with a sea view. Sarah our host was very helpful and the cooked breakfast was lovely. Both the house & garden were stunning with some beautiful features and is a real sun trap. Looking forward to going back sometime!

Our room had a stunning view of the garden, the sea, Teignmouth and even a bit of Shaldon. It was large, light and airy. The house itself is clearly loved and full of interesting things wherever you look. My breakfast was really great with homemade granola, yogurt and fruit as well as fried eggs and bacon etc. We felt absolutely spoilt by Sarah, who even offered us a cup of tea and piece of cake on our arrival.

First visit to Teignmouth, we are working our way back from West to East along the North and South coasts. Chose Woodlands, and could not have mad3 a better choice. Great location, free parking 10 minute walk down to the town itself. Views across the town from the room and gardens, so much space, comfy bed, and bathroom huge as well. Did I mention the breakfast? Well I saved the best until last, May have to make another visit just to check Don’t hesitate, go and enjoy staying in a listed building.

Beautiful Georgian house with absolutely wonderful views over the town and the sea. Ideally located for the railway station and the town centre. Sarah is incredibly welcoming - the chocolate and banana cake on our arrival was a real treat. Our bedroom was huge, with expansive views over the gardens and to sea. We had everything we needed in our room - the coffee machine was a bonus The bed was really comfortable with perfect pillows!!! All in all we would highly recommend it

This is such a lovely hotel and I stayed the night in a very comfortable en suite room, which was beautifully decorated. It had gorgeous sea views and I was given a very warm welcome. I'm looking forward to going back there as soon as I possibly can!
