First, the good news: the staff in the hotel reception were very pleasant and very helpful Second, the not-so-good news. We arrived at 0400 and were allocated Room 215. We were staying for 3 nights before our tour of Georgia. Room 215 was pokey and we did not fancy staying there for the duration and asked to be moved. Later that day, moved to Room 503, an even smaller room with the added attractions of the hotel's noisy 24 hour AC extractor fans outside the window and a broken shower fitting. Moved to Room 508 which was better than either of the two previous rooms. On return from the tour, we were allocated Room 209 ... much bigger and better than our previous three rooms. And if you like techno music blaring outside until 0500 on a Sunday morning, this is the room for you. There may be some 'good' rooms in this hotel and perhaps we were unlucky, but if you are allocated an unsatisfactory room, the moral seems to be to keep asking to be moved until you get allocated a suitable room.
