Very pleasant on the inlet waterway in Tavernier. Great breakfast spot. Clean rooms the only reason I gave it a 4 was there was just a blanket on the bed and no sheets and no extra blankets.

Property was average. Upon check-in, there was a customer with an issue with their reservation. The Rep at the counter was on the phone with the manager/owner. I could literally hear him yelling at his employee while I was sitting in the waiting area at reception. I felt horrible for the rep at the counter. He was not professional in the way he spoke to her. His tone was unacceptable. She did not create the problem and just trying to help the customer. Her boss was NOT making the situation better. He arrived within minutes and fixed the reservation issues. My check-in was smooth. Unprofessional way to speak to an employee in front of multiple customers. Room was spacious, although a little maintenance & updating is needed. Only stayed 1 night.

DANGER DANGER This place is nothing like the pictures. New paint on the door is like lipstick on a pig. It's still a pig. Not even a robe hook in the bathroom. A little 2 ft round glass table to put stuff on that had out dated packages of coffee and a dirty coffee pot on taking up space. Tv didn't work at all. Avoid this place at all possible. DANGER DANGER

Friendly & efficient check-in service. Sherry was our room attendee, friendly and very accommodating. Our room was simple and small but clean, efficient and comfortable. Enjoyed our seats along the canal which allowed us to see a manatee and calf as well as many pelicans.

Our room was spotlessly clean and was very quiet given the proximity to the road. There are some good restaurants within walking distance. The check in and check out went well. All staff were friendly and efficient. A good overall value. I would definitely stay again .
