Tui Oaks Motel

Loved how close everything was! Very convenient for our stay. Loved the Lake view, walking distance to town centre. Amazing! They have the bestest MORNING view EVER!

Clean, friendly reception and very good location, just in front of the lake side, and my room have a lake view.

本來沒想來陶波的……從霍比特也就過來了……臨時訂的房……我朋友特別滿意……沒有在計劃之內來的地方……要不是第二天還得回奧克蘭還車……應該會多停留一天……享受一下這個房間～房間不大……合適……但是，重點是夕陽西下🌇的時候，你躺在房間裏看，本來開了一天的車……這景，馬上就值得了……我們入住的時候是位年長的奶奶，非常好，下午好像是位國人男士，都很友好。送了個牛奶🥛……不錯

The room was small. But had a nice size tv. You have to wash dishes in the bathroom and I don't like that. Had a nice big tv though and sky. It is very clean and lovely shower and a cool mirror that lights up in bathroom. The lady was very accommodating and helpful and friendly. I had a gorgeous lake view.. no aircon and only one small window.to open. But there was a fan and that was efficient. I was upstairs and even though it's on the main road I couldn't hear the traffic. Lovely place to stay.

Perfect place with awesome staff and fitted our trip amazingly. Will stay again anytime. Thank you very much.

We were in Rm 303, 3rd floor. Fabulous view of Lake Taupo. But, lift outside our room was noisy and road noise could bother some. No air conditioning, couldn't leave the window open as the traffic noise was pretty constant. There was a fan in each room for cooling, and oil fin heaters to use in winter. Carpet on stairwell tired. To get to the separate bedroom one had to go through the bathroom, no separate toilet. Light switch for bathroom in kitchen. Door to bathroom is in the wrong place. If someone was in the toilet could not access the separate bedroom. Or, if you were in the bedroom, you had to wait until the person using the bathroom opened the door to be able to exit the bedroom. Had to step up into the 1980's shower, could be a problem for the elderly. Shower water pressure not very strong at all. Beds comfy, nice linen and comfy pillows. Unit very clean. Staff very nice. This motel clearly had its heyday back in the 1980's and is now tired. We felt that there would be other newer motels in Taupo that were better value for money. It wasn't a bad stay but money did need to be spent to bring it up to a better standard.

Proximity to beach and town is good. Lovely staff. No too pricey. Bed comfortable. Traffic noise and too much light in the room didn't make for a deep sleep. Blockout curtains and tv decoder light cover would help I think.

Great space for people with dogs. Located right opposite the lake. Very friendly receptionist. Easy parking
