Great location, however the giant cockroach in our bathroom was unacceptable. No blow dryer in room either

This is our 3rd visit to this hotel. We always book here if available when visiting Tallahassee and I also refer people to the hotel. Exceptional service/staff and clean rooms.

The service is really good and friendly. The hotel is old. At one point the elevator did not work. The teak was very responsive. The room was clean but there was no hot water...only warm.

We checked in about 10 pm and asked staff about restaurants open nearby, but they didn't know any. Then we asked if they had any food for sale. They said "no." We drove around and found that the Burger King right next door was open. When we returned to the hotel, we discovered there were vending machines near the lobby. Staff should have known these things and had a more helpfull attitude. The next day, friends told us that their room had no hot water. Staff later told them that the water had been out all week. Staff should have put them in a better room.

I wasn’t here long, just for an evening but it was a super nice hotel for the money. Not dirty and friendly staff. Limited vending/snack options which would make a longer stay a little less appealing but honestly it was a great experience. The area seemed a little rough but you couldn’t tell by how well everything else went.

Overnight stay. It was fine. We tried to order pizza from 3 different pizza places, but they couldn't find the hotel in their system?!? Weird.

The rooms are very clean. I love the coffee machine that allows the guests to make specialty coffee drinks such as "cafe con leche". Great accommodations. Will stay here again.

Pros: Comfortable bed, one of the best continental breakfasts we’ve had.
Cons: Accessible bathroom would be better with a counter around the sink instead of freestanding sink; there was not one USB connection available.
Amusing: Did we really need two phones?
