Initially booked a deluxe queen suite and Trip.com / hotel confirmed we could add a single bed. Upon arrival, hotel said they couldn't and changed us to a family suite even though they have rollaway beds available and the deluxe queen suite had ample space. Room: Family suite is spacious but A/C took very long to warm up the room. Bathroom is open concept with clothing rack situated outside the shower closet which makes it inconvenient to dress/undress. Breakfast buffet has a decent selection of Chinese dishes including a noodle station. Location: Hotel is ＜10 min drive from train station and old town area which is quite convenient considering that most of the hotels that are walking distance from the old town are dated and undermaintained.

The room was new and very clean. The TV screen is large and the facilities in the room are relatively advanced. The front desk and other service staff were very enthusiastic. They also brought snacks in the evening and the breakfast was rich. Worth likes 👍

Nice hotel, right in the most attractive part of Taining town. It's a few minutes walk from the historic district, right on the river front. Easy access also to get to the natural scenic areas of the region. The hotel itself is nice, clean, well-maintained. The room is spacious and has modern features. The staff is very helpful, they do their best to accommodate a laowai customer. The only critique I have that is true for the vast majority of the hotels in China that the breakfast isn't exactly attractive for foreigners. One can of course eat Chinese breakfast with steamed buns and spicy soups and things like that most of the time, but occasionally I wouldn't mind to have a western style option available too. In a four star hotel I would expect this to be on the menu

The hotel is located in the county town, in a relatively central location, and is very convenient to various scenic spots. It is 9 kilometers away from Dajin Lake and can be reached in 15 minutes by car. The ancient city is just a short walk away. The hotel service is proactive and enthusiastic, and they will suggest how to arrange the travel itinerary. The room is bright, hygienic and clean, and the breakfast is ok. The overall feeling is very convenient, and the price-performance ratio is ok, which is worth recommending.

Facilities: The water temperature in the bathroom is a bit hot and cold. The hair dryer broke for two minutes, and I asked the front desk temporarily (still timely). 4. The hotel is a bit old, but fortunately the suite is very large and spacious, there is a table, there is a sofa, the sofa can also be pulled out to change the sofa bed, there is no problem with many people, not far from the ancient city, next time you come to Taining, you will still live here.

Clean, amazing location right across from the ancient town, the view was so good we just stayed up and started out of the window for a long while, breakfast Chinese style but lots of options.
