Hotéis perto de Chihkan Tower, Tainan

Stayed for two nights. Had some issue with our hotel room key. The staff were very proactive trying to resolve the issue, but it was only till the 2nd day of our stay that was resolved. There was no compensation for the incovenience caused as we only had 1 phisical key for 4 ppl. Having said that, the rest of the service was very nice, would be happy to go back again.

We had a great stay at Kindness Day Hotel! It’s small but sleek and modern, with a cozy vibe. The staff were super friendly and helpful, especially for us English speakers, which made everything so easy. The lounge with unlimited coffee and cookies was perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. You get a free drink ticket each night for beer or juice, which is a nice perk. Just be sure to use them the same day as they expire. We didn’t get a chance to use ours! The breakfast buffet was decent, not amazing, but still a nice option to have. With a bus stop and bike station right outside and plenty of restaurants and attractions nearby, it’s a super convenient and welcoming place to stay. Highly recommend!

Important: Please bring ear plugs! the sound from street traffic is kind of echoey and loud. I went to buy some after my first night. Location is hard to beat. I got to try quite a few good eateries just by staying here. And there are street markets of different types within short walking distance. I was staying in a room on 2nd level and using the shared bathroom, but it looked like i was the the only one using it. Everything is clean and spotless, as if the place is very new. The hot/cold water dispenser at ground level is very useful. More hooks/hangers in the room for hanging clothes would be nice. The light feature above the bed and the full-length glass windows that allow natural light are very aesthetically pleasing. What was perhaps unusual and a bit unnerving - a first for me - was that i didn't see ANY person around the whole of my 4-day stay. I arrived late and had to do a self check-in on the first day so that was to be expected, but on subsequent days no staff were at reception, nor did i see any guests (though i could faintly hear them in their rooms on certain days). Is this a low season thing? Having said that, i found the self-check in and check-out is quite convenient and if you have connected with them over Whatsapp, they send clear instructions beforehand. They will also answer any questions over Whataspp, so i guess it's like a virtual receptionist?

Os funcionários são amigáveis e úteis desde o primeiro dia, forneceram-me muitas informações de viagem e alimentos, tiveram um par de conversas bonitas e riram com eles. Eles fizeram UMA pausa para preparar um pequeno-almoço no último dia Da minha estadia, sabendo que não tive tempo para experimentar um determinado prato local. Tragam as SUAS próprias casas de banho, porque o país defende a sustentabilidade. Há comida e bebidas no lobby. Realmente aprecia e recomenda este lugar para alojamento quando você está em Tainan.Como eles dizem, se você não esteve em Tainan (a cidade mais antiga da ilha), você não esteve realmente em Taiwan.

Was worried about the mixed Google reviews but Villa area was nicer than expected. Recommended to come on a weekday so there are fewer people. Enjoyed the public hot springs (room came with 1 coupon) and the personal room hot springs). Booked Tuscany room and the hot springs are located outdoors, you can still do a nude dip but take note that there are other rooms above you, can wrap a towel from the room the pools. Room itself is smaller than expected but quite decent. Some flies around but otherwise good.

The hotel is old and it shows. There are many pools in the onsen area and guests are required to wear swimsuits and swimming caps. The rooms look like they have to renovated but all public area and pools are aged and cleanliness can be improved. The selection at breakfast is basic but it is fair for what we were charged. The receptionists at the front desk are very nice and helpful.

Hotel Sukimi is located within walking distance from the Dongmen Night Market (but not that the NM is only opened on mon, wed and fri) the room is slightly smaller than it looks from the picture provided but its of comfortable size the hotel provides soap n shampoo thru dispenser though they no long provide one time use bottles.. toothbrush is provided too.. the hotel has bicycle for rent...there is a park juz outside the hotel, abt 5mins out.. i see many reviews abt the hotel breakfast half good half bad.. dun expect wide spread.. porridge, salad bar, cooked food and toast are available... drinks like hot cold tea, coffee, milk are oso provided.. the menu changed slight on the the days we were there but still relatively good.. macdonalds is outside along the road abt 15mins walk.. can take a good walk at the park and head out for breakfast too location of the hotel is slightly inside a residential area not in sight from outside the road.. quiet and serene oh they have ample parking lots underground the hotel or juz outside the hotel @ a low hourly rate overall i would recommend stay at this hotel 👍🏻👍🏻 ps forgot to take photos 🤦🏻♀️🤣

The room was spacious with places to put our luggages. The bed was oddly off centered but that created space for the luggage :) There were international electrical sockets so I didnt have to use my adaptor. The toilet has an odd configuration. Instead of a shower curtain, u get a ”toilet seat curtain” that u are supposed to pull to keep it dry when showering (water still gets splashed on it if it is not pulled well). The most inconvenient part of the room was the lack of a dry area to wear clothes after showering. Water pressure and temperature are great. Location wise, the hotel is very near the western market, shen nong street. We were also able to walk back from the Tainan TRA station when the buses had ended at night. There is a free shuttle bus to the THSR Tainan station which stops about 3mins walk from the hotel. We only discovered this on check out, so good to enquire with the hotel before checking in. The staff were generally friendly, when asked, they gave some suggestions about where to eat nearby. They look slightly unsure, possibly because it was ***** new year period. They were also helpful in booking taxi, massage and sending up additional clothes hangers. I did converse in mandarin though. We can get bedroom slippers and bottled water for free at the lobby, so that was very nice.

O quarto foi reformado e é bastante espaçoso. O ar-condicionado é central, portanto não é possível ajustar a temperatura. Há estacionamento gratuito, mas a entrada é um pouco estreita.
