Was just a overnight stay so we couldn't enjoy the facilities or the food, but what a luvly surprise getting a Studio Apartment than the normal room, found it very spacious luvly nights stay ....staff at checkin warm and friendly as well.

Great, cheap hotel, right at Darling Harbour. 5 minutes from everywhere. Very helpful, friendly staff. I only stayed one night because that’s all I needed but it is always my ‘go-to’ place in Sydney.

Good location which is nearby my client office that i needed to get to within walking distance. Walkable to most places. Room is modernised but toilet is old, dingy and a bit dirty to be honest. Hair strands on the bath tub upon arrival and everyday (mine excluded) which is a put off. Daily housekeeping is only to replenish drinks and bed making. I shed my long hair and they are all over the toilet and bedroom floors. On last night, i found a face cloth i used the previous day with makeup stains refolded and put back onto toilet counter top as if it was new... Breakfast spread is delectable with ability to bring coffee to-go esp if you ate in a hurry in the morning.

Very close to Mascot Station which is only two stations away from the Central Station. There are local provision stores and reasturants nearby and a quiet community.

Firstly, this hotel is perfectly located for business travellers to Macquarie Park Business Centres. The hotel is 5 minutes away from offices, Macquarie Centre and train stations. Absolutely perfect for my work trip. There were some positives. Rooms are fine, completely what you would expect from a business hotel. Bed was comfortable, there was a TV that I never used, space to put luggage and hang up your clothes, a table and a chair etc. However, it goes down hill from there. I'll list the negatives 1 by 1: 1. One pillow had a very strong odour coming from it. Smelled like bad musty BO. I literally had to move the pillow into the cupboard as I couldn't stand the smell. However, this meant that I could smell this musty smell every time I came in and out of the room. 2. 1 of the provide bath towels had a big hole/tear in it. 3. Housekeeping made an error and did not provide shampoo but instead 2 conditioners. Easy enough, I called up reception and they said I have to come down to the reception to get it myself. Fine, went down and was given 1 bottle of shampoo. I went back upstairs to shower only to find that the shampoo given was pre-opened/pre-used. Terrible. After my shower, I went back down to speak to another receptionist who was apologetic and gave me 2 bottles of shampoo. 4. On my second day, I realised housekeeping had not come in, so I went down to speak to the reception again and was told that because of COVID, they only do housekeeping on after the 3rd day of your stay which made it null and void for me. 5. Fitness centre was adequate but they did not replenish the towels and did not clear used towels regularly. On my second day, I had left a used towel on the side as the bin was full. On my third day, the bin was still full and my previous towel still sitting there in the same position I had left it in. Forth day, no more clean towels. 6. If they were so concerned about COVID, they would have more regular cleaning of public areas like the gym and in the hall way where an empty glass and cup set for 3 whole days. The lack of cleaning in public areas to me is unacceptable in the hospitality industry now. All in all, I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone given my concerns above, especially the lack of cleanliness while we are dealing with an epidemic.

I have been staying in this hotel for many days and I feel good. The main reason is that the room is clean. Although the area is small, land is very expensive in Sydney. The price-quality ratio is relatively good because the location is excellent and travel is very convenient. It is not far away. Central Station, it is very convenient to go anywhere. It's also very convenient to eat around.

If the female is single .. It is recommended not to live, there is no elevator! I was almost out of gas with two suitcases .. Although the first floor staff helped me move up, can I understand how I feel when I check out ... Well, because I live in the highest building (the third floor) I Feeling extremely cold .. I also turned on mobile heating ... I have a small bar and a small refrigerator..I do n’t have a toothbrush, I have towels, others, I have a TV, but I did n’t turn it on because the first floor is a local ghost restaurant It ’s opposite (the sound insulation is not good enough to hear the traffic on the road). Walk five minutes away from The Star. There is a supermarket behind The Star. The function is not bad. I did n’t brush the toilet .. I cleaned it myself and saw that there are still traces in the toilet (I do n’t know if it ’s piss or urine ...) I did n’t care about it anymore, I put it on the toilet and finished. Their genuine interest in our well-being, coupled with their attention to detail, made us feel truly pampered. Our room, a serene haven, was tastefully decorated, blending modern amenities with subtle touches of elegance. A sweeping view of the city skyline against the setting sun from our window was simply mesmerizing, adding an extra layer of magic to our stay. The cleanliness and peaceful ambiance of the room were second to none, contributing to our restful nights. Evening walks in the hotel's serene gardens, imbued with the soft scent of blooming flowers, brought us closer to nature and each other. Meanwhile, the sleek, tranquil spa with its range of rejuvenating treatments further elevated our stay. Our experience at The Elysium was indeed a magical escape, made even more special by the fact that we shared these wonderful moments together. It was a refreshing break, a chance to disconnect from the mundane, and reconnect with each other. Our memories of this place are etched in our hearts, making us yearn to return when the opportunity arises. We left The Elysium with heavy hearts but with the promise of a future visit. It was more than just a hotel, it was an experience, a beautiful chapter in our lives, that we would happily revisit.

I stayed at the hotel for 2.5 weeks during one of the busiest times in Sydney. The rooms were cleaned daily. The staff exceptional. The manager on duty incredible. I had a few hiccups as any traveller would at any hotel but once mentioned by me to the staff they without hesitation went beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. It isn’t the most glamorous or biggest or even the most sophisticated place but it was perfect for a solo guy like me travelling in Australia for Mardi Gras and site seeing. Other friends of mine ran into numerous problems beyond my challenges at other big chain hotels but this little place kept me going and made me very happy. I’d return anytime. It’s location is perfect for site seeing and a overnight sleep or daytime nap. Thanks to all the staff there that were amazing. See ya again soon I hope!

Julien and Michael, we stayed from Sunday night to Tuesday morning. The staff were friendly and helpful. I like the room it had lots of space and was very warm. Bed good and comfy, slept well each night. Bathroom Nice and cosy. Shower was always warm and pressure good.
