Upon arrival the room smelled like stale cigarettes and stagnant water which was extremely unpleasant. I had to prop the door open with my suitcase to get fresh air in with the window open. I ended up going to the supermarket to buy carpet deodoriser and air freshener to get the smell out. I could still smell it when I left after 2 days. When I went to get into bed it was very obvious the bed had been slept in and the pillowcase had not been changed. I had to strip the bed and make it with what was left over with the sheet that goes over the doona. I know it was NYE and paid over $600 a night for the room, but wasn’t expecting the room to not smell ok and have fresh linen.

Rydges will be my first choice whenever I’m in Sydney. Brilliant location that allowed me to use public transport, or even walked to my destinations. Plus, the male receptionists did a great job. I appreciate that. Regarding meals there, I did not go to the Hotel restaurant yet, but I did order the Salmon which was very tasty. Thanks to the chef. On top of that, I noticed there’s a cafe next to the reception on the Ground Floor ♥️

The stay was nice clean bed and bathroom the only real fault was the ac was absolutely terrible. I was advised that every rooms ac was not working correctly I ended up having to buy a fan so my boyfriend and I could sleep without melting.

This hotel is a bit far from the Sydney city. Didn’t like the location TBh. Not recommended.

Eu só fiquei 1 noite em Sydney e cheguei cedo de manhã, eles não te deixarão entrar até que chegue a hora que é às 2:00 e compreenda completamente.Então eu esperei na área de seleção do lobby. No entanto, outros convidados que chegaram às 1h00 conseguiram chegar diretamente à sua sala, e também chamaram outros convidados que estavam cedo e esperavam comigo, mas eu só cheguei à minha sala no 2.30pm. Caso contrário, o hotel é bom para despedimentos e se você tiver um voo precoce no próximo dia.Acesso à cidade é fácil, porque o comboio está atravessando a estrada.

A localização está perfeita Ao Lado Da Cidade Da China e é conveniente para o CBD.Apenas 15-20mins transporte para o Aeroporto de Sydney. Verifiquei às 00h00, apenas um empregado no escritório frontal, parecia cansado e a escrita de mão era terrível, o WW WiFi não funcionou e ninguém respondeu ao telefone quando liguei do quarto.No dia seguinte, outro empregado útil escreveu o WW correto para mim. A sala era espaçosa, MAS não havia espaço suficiente para o escritório, a cama era confortável, a higiene era inaceitável, especialmente a casa de banho, o pessoal de limpeza apenas limpou duas vezes durante a minha estadia de 5 noites, o cabelo estava apertado no tecto, as molduras estavam terríveis Na área de chuveiro. O hotel Precisa melhorar o Ambiente de limpeza e interior.Em geral, este hotel não valeu o preço que paguei. Desiludido.

Great stay in a super convenient location I had a really enjoyable stay at Rydges Central Sydney. The location is fantastic – right in the CBD and within easy walking distance of Darling Harbour, Hyde Park, and public transport, which made getting around Sydney effortless. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a very comfortable bed and everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The hotel itself is well maintained, quiet, and feels like a great balance between business-friendly and leisure-ready. Staff were friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful from check-in to check-out, which always makes a big difference. Overall, great value for money in a central location. I’d happily stay here again and would recommend it to anyone visiting Sydney for work or a short city break 😊

The worst Father’s Day stay I have had in over 50 years - the television did not work and we paid extra to have a ocean view room but when you look out all you see are high rise buildings and pine trees from the room - if you go out onto the balcony and look to the right there is the ocean - the balcony door lock did not work and was held by a hook and eye staple ( at least that reminded me of my childhood 70 years ago ) - no milk in the fridge for tea or coffee - the bath mat was a hand towel for one foot only so no chance of 4 for Father’s Day celebration - the food was good and the staff helpful and courteous - on checking out I did voice our concerns and was told the manager would be advised.

I thoroughly enjoyed my overnight stay at Rudy’s North Sydney. The lovely man who checked me into the Hotel was so helpful. The following morning the host of the breakfast restaurant was also very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again. Rooms are renovated with nice products.

The hotel was alright, definitely spacious and in a convenient location. The living room and bedroom is excellent in my books. However, it’s a bit dated, and the toilet shows its age. We encountered small cockroaches each evening we returned, luckily just the slow kind that you can easily catch. I appreciated the green programme that rewards guests who skip room service with vouchers, but the voucher has limited use, especially with the breakfast spread being quite limited; honestly, you’re better off heading out to nearby cafés instead. Skipping housekeeping also meant I had to dispose of my own trash, and the recycling bins near the lifts kept piling up without being cleared. Can be better.
