Very good one night stop apart from kettle missing from our room. Helpful staff provided large flask of hot water so we could enjoy the supply of coffee, etc

This is my wife and I’s second visit to the Sun Inn and as before found the accommodation exceptionally clean and tidy, plus the food first class. My only minor gripe being the many shallow steps between the actual pub and the annex accommodation.

Dirty bathroom, lots of limescale in shower, crazy tap on sink blasting water everywhere! Strange snell in riom, coming from bathroom.
Breakfast was ok.
Staff ok but seemingly overstretched and could do with customer service training.

This is an old pub type inn. We ate dinner and breakfast during our stay and it accomodated pets... The grounds were neat and tidy, but the meal menus were limited. I really enjoyed the breakfast as they had a great take on the Full English. The hashbrowns were excellent (and tasted like Onion Rings) and the bacon tasted like Ham... Quite a treat. It is quite local to the hospital if you are seeing family/friends there.

Stayed here as a stop-over on our way from Norfolk to Bristol. There was a great atmosphere in the pub, good food (we had a bar meal and breakfast there) and the staff were lovely and very nice to our dogs.
We would love to come back and stay when the weather is better as the country park, just through from the car park, looked a nice place to walk the dogs, but it was a bit muddy and we were short of time. Highly recommended.

Great location, dog friendly with immense walks on the doorstep- would be great with kids too as you can have adjoining rooms. Fabulous shower! Rooms well put together and well equipped, very comfortable bed. Well cooked breakfast and great staff. Would definitely return; would make a good stop over on business too.

We really enjoyed our stay here, rooms were spacious and clean. Breskfast was a hood start to the day. Staff were friendly and helpful.
