Our store is located in the prosperous area at the east end of Qili Shantang, a famous thousand-year old street in Suzhou. It is close to Shilu Commercial Street and about a 7-minute walk to Shantang Street Subway Station. It is also a short distance from Suzhou Museum, Humble Administrator's Garden, Lion Grove, and Tiger Hill Scenery. The area has convenient transportation and convenient parking. Shantang Mansion is a unique cultural-themed hotel that incorporates scholarly elements based on the original Ming and Qing guild hall building - Gangzhou Guild Hall. Hotel have airconditioning which is very rare during march un shanghai, heated floors, heated toilets, with balcony, windows cant be open though. Outside the hotel is the famous street on shantang. Very nice place . Breakfast is not ok though , they have complimentary drinks though and the ambiance of the hotel is perfect for photoshoot

An unexpected gem of a hotel, located smack in the middle of a bustling street full of curios, delicious food and sights.
Once you step inside, get transported back to ancient China history. The noise from the street disappears into peace and tranquil. Feeling like living in a kungfu movie hotel, with very nice decor and furnishing.
Choose the 2 storey, 2 bedroom villa, if in a group. Lots of Instagram backdrop and ancient settings.
Service from front desk and Mr Shu (or Xue) is very good.
Great place for older folks or nostalgic guests. Wanting to soak in the ancient days of living.

Excellent experience to stay in this hotel… compare to the city hotel, this hotel got the suzhou cultural feeling and their staffs are very friendly and polite… i will come and stay again if i coming to Suzhou again… the location also beat for vacation altot u need to walk thru busy streets and car cannot enter but it is still very convenient and not very far for walking.

首先很感謝書香府邸的主管，我在不同平台訂房，但是服務依舊優越。
主管時時刻刻為客人著想的態度，讓我覺得很溫馨，給飯店的服務人員一個‘’讚‘’。
書香府邸除了車子無法直達門口這個不方便之外，其他我覺得都還不錯。
下午茶我無法回來享受，飯店還特別把茶點跟茶葉放在房間裡面，真的很貼心！
裡面房間分主臥跟客廳，裡面佈置很乾淨，色調也很古色古香兼具現代的融合（可惜沒拍照🤣）。
PS
1.山塘老街夜景還不錯，可以去拍照。
2.離地鐵站不算遠。
3.打車我是打到渡僧橋下車。
