I booked as a Hilton Friends & Family member. Did digital check in so we were able to skip the desk, that went smoothly. We arrived late, after 10pm. When we arrived in the room, we began to check it out before unpacking and I’m sure glad we did. One of the beds was covered with animal hair, and human hair. There tape (trash) on the entertainment center as well as sticky stuff spread across the top in random places. There were only 2 towels. We called the front desk and asked to be moved. She initially told me no other rooms were available due to being sold out. She put me on hold for several minutes and came back to say that she had one other room that had been “put out of service” but the issue (never said what it was) had been fixed and she wanted to make sure it was cleaned and would meet me on the next floor to check it out. We gathered our belongings and went up to the room. When we opened the door, we were smacked in the face with Febreeze or some other kind of deodorizer. It was AWFUL. Once again, we started to the check the room out. Shortage of pillows. Stains on the top blanket of one bed. The mattress covers appeared as if something had began eating them. Completely shredded. What was the point of even having them on? Stains on the sheets below. Unknown things in the shower, along with more hair. And what appeared to be snot or some other substance smeared across the door. Just gross. We were tired since we had traveled for almost 4 hours prior to arrival so we decided to take it as a loss and call it a night. Breakfast was decent in the morning. All the staff were nice even when we were complaining. I was expecting a better quality of cleanliness for sure. That was the biggest downfall.
