Despite the name featuring the word “luxury” there was nothing luxury at all about the apartment. It was dirty, dilapidated, torn up carpets, smelly, the outside balcony was dirty, the shower door didn’t shut properly, the bath drain didn’t drain the water, the carpets were stained and dirty, there were previous stays food crumbs underneath the sofas, previous stays empty drink bottles under the bed, curtains weren’t blackout and didn’t close properly which meant there was lots of light coming through from sunrise onwards, shower tray and bath tubs were stained, the sofa was stained, random stains all over the furniture, dirt under the couches, just in general not what you’d expect from a property within the Hilton hotel chain, Hilton should be embarrassed to have their name associated with the residences as you’d expect the property to be at least a three to four star property, and although the hotel amenities were three to four star, the apartment itself was no better than a run down motel. With three kids, we were disgusted by the overall experience and it ruined our Christmas having booked over the holiday period. We paid a premium to be there from Christmas Eve through to the 28th December and it wasn’t worth the money spent and we should have just stayed home
