The Stroud Hotel

This was my second time staying at The Stroud Hotel this year. This trip was even better than the first time. The hotel now has a fantastic beer garden in the front which can be used throughout the year. All the bedrooms are very tastefully decorated with light and airy decor, plenty or wardrobe space. The rooms have great amenities including a coffee machine, water and hairdryer. In the bathroom the shower is very powerful, with fluffy towels and gorgeous smelling toiletries makes it a perfect place to unwind. The restaurant menu has plenty of things to choose from, we had breakfast, lunch and dinner in the hotel and all the food was beautifully presented and tasted amazing. We were lucky enough to indulge in fantastic cocktails to go with our lunch and dinner. After all the food walking into the very pretty and picturesque town was the perfect touch. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff which makes this the perfect hotel for any type trip! Cannot wait to go back!

My second weekend stay at The Stroud in the past 6 months. I can't get enough! The room was well appointed and luxurious (even the sheets and pillows!) and the staff are wonderful. Nothing is too much. The food is excellent throughout the day. I highly recommend the 'admiral' breakfast and the local ales. Parking is easy and the hotel is slap-bang in the centre of Stroud. We went for lovely strolls and visited the country market. Considering all of this, the prices for a stay and food are superb. I highly recommend.

I've stayed at the Stroud Hotel for three months, for a business related trip. It was a wonderful stay for sure, with a lovely decor and comforting rooms. I've been really pleased with it all being organised by Kristina. She was very dedicated to provide an excellent experience at the hotel, always very polite and very helpful with anything and all the queries. I appreciated all the arrangements and adjustments that Kristina have been made possible swell in the meantime of my stay. The food at the restaurant was fine, as mostly preferred to eat out in other restaurants. Will definitely be back for another cozy stay if will be in the area again. Thank you for everything

I recently had the pleasure of dining / staying at Stroud hotel, and I was blown away by the experience. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, the service was impeccable, and the food was simply divine. The steak was the highlight of the meal - it was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. The hotel was cosy and staff all amazing and friendly. The location was ideal next to the train station.

What can I say but wow! Everything about our stay was fantastic, the service from Curtis and his team was exceptional and don't even get me started on the food! Curtis also made me one of the best old fashioneds I think ever had which definitely warrants some bonus points 10/10

Stayed at the Stroud Hotel traveling on business. The gentleman who checked us in was very friendly and couldn’t do enough. The room was large, clean, cosy and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The restaurant was cosy, we had the fish and chips and it was delicious. Excellent breakfast which was good value for money. Would definitely stay here again.
