We stayed here whilst visiting relatives. Lovely pub accommodation, fantastic room, with everything you need. Great welcoming staff. Superb, huge breakfast. Unfortunately the restaurant is now closed. Great craft ales. Ambiance fab.

This beautiful property has changed hands a lot over the years. Since Black Country Ales took it over they did a wonderfully sympathetic refurbishment, keeping all of the Mitchells & Butlers windows and tiles. There is a bar, a snug with fire and dartboard and an expansive restaurant that serves excellent food. It is a very short walk from Stourbridge Junction railway station and there are rooms, so no excuses for not indulging in a few pints of BFG, Chain Ale or Pig On The Wall! On warmer days the beer garden, with it's beautiful hanging baskets, is a delight. 5/5 - heartily recommended

This is one of the nicest places I've stayed in for a long time. I travel a lot with work and my expectations are pretty low of most places. However the staff here were lovely (in particular Ruth) and even though I arrived late and had missed the restaurant I was provided with sandwiches. The room was immaculate and very comfortable. I got a great nights sleep as it was so quiet and then was greeted with what can only be described as a 'Desperate Dan' size breakfast in the morning! Really pleased and have booked it again for next week. Would highly recommend.

We needed somewhere to stay for a night near family in the area, and were very pleased to find this pub which offers accommodation at a very reasonable price. The staff were just lovely and the room was very comfortable and well-appointed. Breakfast was wonderful - all the usual, plus a lovely fruit salad made especially for us as we had asked for fruit. We were able to park right outside the pub. It's near a station, and a short walk to a very nice Indian restaurant and a convenience store. I would recommend this pace to anyone.
