"Check-in was simple with friendly front desk workers who offered us bottled water from a refrigerator in the lobby. The room was very clean and well-equipped with tea, coffee, a refrigerator and microwave. I especially liked the fact that the floor was not carpeted but wood laminate, which is much easier to clean. The pool looked brand new and was open late. Breakfast was perfectly adequate, coffee, tea, yogurt, fruit, cereal, milk and protein bars with bags to pack for takeaway or to eat there. The location was perfect to visit The Corning Museum of Glass, which was under 10 minutes away."

"We stayed at Best Western Plus The Hammondsport Hotel for one night on our way back to Maryland, and it was a wonderful stop for our trip. We planned to visit Watkins Glen State Park the next day, and the hotel’s location was very convenient — it is close to the park, nearby lakes, and the charming village of Hammondsport. The front desk staff was very friendly and welcoming. Our room was exceptionally clean and tidy, with high ceilings and a spacious layout. Everything inside the room looked new, well-maintained, and thoughtfully arranged. It was comfortable for our family, and we honestly could not find anything to complain about. The complimentary breakfast was decent, with options including waffles, which was a nice convenience before heading out for the day. Overall, we had a great stay and would highly recommend Best Western Plus The Hammondsport Hotel to anyone visiting Watkins Glen, Keuka Lake, or the surrounding Finger Lakes area. We would definitely consider staying here again."

"The breakfast at the hotel was okay, and the service was very friendly. During breakfast, the waiter saw us taking our children and took the initiative to give the children a pack of snacks. But the air conditioner in the room feels like it's placed indoors. I don't know if it's just a door that's closed. It makes a rumbling sound every once in a while when it's turned on. Fortunately, it is autumn and the temperature is not too high. If it were so loud all night in summer, it would probably be a bit uncomfortable."

"I was pleasantly surprised by how clean my room was. The service was fine. The only problem I had was late night noise from the room above. I didn’t get much sleep on the first night. I asked for a different room for the second night. The clerk was very accommodating. Slept very well the second night.  There were 3 other customers that first night. I don’t understand why 1 had to be housed right above my room"
