Nice hotel! Highly recommend for people who want a peace of mind.

While I had no issue with the room and the breakfast offered as part of the deal was very good I was totally irritated with the establishment before I arrived. On making my reservation I requested that I be able to check in a little earlier (check in was only at 3 pm!) as I had to be at a wedding nearby that was starting at 3. All I wanted was the room for an hour before to give me time to change and prepare for what was a formal occasion. The hotel did not even both to respond to the request which was made weeks before and when received my confirmation a few days before check in I saw that they had just ignored the request. I contacted them and they told me that I would need to pay a further R750 should I want to check in early! They said they would try and accommodate me to check in at 13.30. Needless to say I flatly refused this daylight robbery! The room was R2 410 per night for a check in a 3 pm and check out by 10 am. Caclulate this and it is R120.50 (including breakfast) an hour yet they wanted R500 an hour just for me to check in a little earlier to dress! They have the excuse of if they can get the room cleaned in time! For heavens sake how difficult is it to have your staff clean a couple of rooms first if you know you need them sooner? Also, are they paying their cleaning staff more for just doing their normal job and cleaning one room sooner than others? I doubt it! They did let me in a little sooner and at no charge which I would always have refused anyway but what was very obvious was that the hotel was extremely quiet and not busy at all so what was all the fuss about? Another attempt at conning for an extra few bucks? All quite sad really as the room was nice enough and the breakfast was good. The staff in the reception were friendly however the overall "vibe" on checking in is very formal, the staff in the dining room were very pleasant and efficient.

We arrived late in the evening, the restaurant had already closed. The kind front desk clerk called the restaurant and spoke to Thomas, who offered to have something made for us and delivered to our room. ( This hotel doesn't have room service). We had a nice steak and some wine, really needed after a long trip from the USA. In the morning, I was amazed by our surroundings. This is a beautifully situated resort. Our room was small but comfortable for the price. The included breakfast offered hot selections and a buffet, which was very filling. The dinners at the restaurant were excellent and well-priced. The golf facility is first-rate, with stunning views. We didn't have a car, which would be helpful if we were here longer than two nights. There isn't any place you can walk to. The Uber App was unreliable, but the front desk can help with transport. With a car, this would make an ideal location for a longer stay in Stellenbosch.

Well, this was a great choice for the last week of our holiday, our wedding Anniversary and Chris**as. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and thank all the staff who looked after us. Our suite was lovely, venue gorgeous, food great and service fabulous. Golf course is amazing as are all the stsff there, so caring and helpful. Hopefully we will be back.

This is such an understated venue, the pro shop was very helpful when hiring clubs which was very reasonable with lots to choose from, I met Dave and JJ they were the perfect hosts. Lunch was fantastic sitting on the upstairs verandah exceptional quality the salmon was cooked to perfection. The course was well maintained the greens were very true.

A pleasant stay. Quite ridiculous though that your room only got free water on the first night!

Visited for one night in May. Super friendly staff and nice a**osphere in the golf club house. The room was decent, but we didn’t spend much time here. Most of the time was spent on the golf course and driving range. Friendly prices for rental clubs and to play 9/18 holes. Fun time:)

Stayed for 1 night in a one bedroom, garden suite - staff at reception does go the extra mile - while the one bedroom suites (apar**ent) is about 3 times larger than the standard rooms, due to a separate lounge, small kitchenette and an outside private garden, the rooms itself is EXTREMELY small, with only a tv in the lounge - the shower is over the bath, unlike the standard rooms that has a shower only - the mattress in our room was VERY HARD - although the property has spectacular surroundings of the mountain range, the suites whether on the first floor with balcony does not afford itself a view of the surroundings - ladies should note there is no bar soap, or even a shampoo in the bathrooms - most disappointing was the breakfast - it is NOT a buffet and ONLY some serials, a fruit bowl and 1 yogurt - NO cheeses, cold meats, or even different breads, rolls etc. - I did note it is a 4* hotel, however not even scons, croissants, or a muffin - a hot breakfast is served on order, which was quite nice - overall the service is fine, but the chef might want to review the breakfast offering, when considering the overall hotel rates - the restaurant and bar is shared between golfers and hotel guest and while we had lunch, the nicotine of the smokers sitting at the bar, reeked throughout the restaurant - it is my opinion that this is an ideal venue for golf enthusiast.

Excellent restaurant with really engaging staff. Great service with a really enjoyable menu. We had several meals in the restaurant and enjoyed every meal with a very diverse menu. Absolute value for money in a great setting. Very friendly environment to have a meal and watch the sun set.
