Come glamp with us just 25 minutes from downtown Charlotte at Fawn and Fern Hideaway. Experience our climate controlled dome with a bathroom, deck and fire pit! We are located in South West Charlotte near Tega Cay. The space is a beautiful twenty three foot dome that is powered by our solar panels and supplied with water from our 375 foot deep well. While our home shares the land, this is our only dome site and you will quickly feel at peace and secluded when you arrive. Our lot is nearly 5 wooded acres. You will have your own access road and private parking. Enjoy your own kitchenette with sink, mini fridge/freezer, k-cup coffee machine and microwave. Your glamping experience has been upgraded to include a plumbed toilet, and climate control via electric fireplace and AC unit. (Dress for the weather as insulation is limited). The dome sleeps 4 guests with a queen bed and bunk beds. There is a private picnic table, charcoal grill and fire pit for your use with whimsical hanging lights and outdoor dining bistro. We plan to one day build an outdoor shower, but until then you may use our wash clothes, soap and sink provided to freshen up as needed. There is a beautiful tree growing right through your private deck and a great bay window looking into the forest. We have planted lovely hostas and ferns surrounding the dome. Enjoy the community of deer that frequent the site. We have put out deer corn to attract and feed these graceful fawn visitors. The space-This spacious 4600 square foot home has a large kitchen that serves as the hub of the home. A large island with stools has plenty of room to cook, visit and enjoy one another. There are large separate refrigerator/freezer, six burner gas top stove, double ovens and large ice maker. This well-equipped kitchen makes it a cooks delight. The kitchen table seats 10 and makes for a fun place to enjoy meals together, sit for good conversations or play games.With four levels to our home it has many different spaces and places to be- Up seven steps to the Master Bedroom it has a sitting area and french doors that open to views of the lake- the master bath has large jetted tub and large walk in shower-Up seven more steps you will find another area with seating and large play area. There are two additional bedrooms with a full bathroom with a claw foot tub and walk in shower. On the main floor there is a lovely bedroom with adjoining bathroomDown seven steps downstairs you will find another large space to sit and watch a movie or play games. There is a foosball and shuffleboard table. Here also is a private sleeping area sectioned off with two twin beds.The outside covered porch is beautiful with a stone fireplace. You will find two large tables and big comfy chairs and rockers to enjoy. The dock also has seating and is a wonderful place to sit and enjoy the sunrises and sunsets. Two kayaks are available to use. We have a spacious and inviting entryway that doubles as a 2nd dining room for larger families, a master suite with his and her bathrooms, a large kitchen with double ovens. It is fully stocked. or really just order pizza. Supersized wall mounted TV in living room (floor 2). An adult floor with 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, veranda, and living room and laundry room with new high end washer/dryer (floor 3). A kid floor with play area, TV, tepee, games, a barn for little ones, etc. One room has 2 bunk beds the other "kid" room has 2 Queen beds and a pull out sofa (floor 4). Finished basement opens to the pool, indoor eating area, outdoor picnic area, kitchenette with refrigerator, sink, microwave, toaster and has a queen bed, twin daybed and sofa (floor 1). Exercise room with direct access to hot tub and pool. The oversized 2 car finished garage is currently being used for ping pong, video arcade games, regulation pool table , 3-hole putt putt, foosball, giant jenga, and has a second new washer/dryer set.
