Issa hamam was a hotel me & my friends were looking forward to visiting coz of Turkish bath but little did I expected for it to turn into a nightmare. The location was superb which was a plus,rest it was the an opposite experience. To begin with the hotel mentions that they take CASH ONLY but they charged our card to the first opportunity since we made a late check in , secondly the room wasn’t what I had booked and when we asked to change the room , they hesitated but then they eventually did n after we moved in, the guy pretty shady as he was came in n mentioned that they are going to charge 10€ extra in total , since it’s an upgrade ( which clearly is wasn’t ) the hotel was empty n had no other guests , which I would like to mention ! The breakfast was a local one which wasn’t bad but the attitude of the staff was pathetic , they stood on our heads n kept looking at us all the time wishing we leave our tables so they can clean & asking for a second cup of coffee was like as if they are doing a huge favour. We didn’t feel welcomed at all! To be honest. Last but not least the check out time is btw 11-12 but as it happens everywhere , guests are easily given half an hour to an hour to check out on requests esp if there arnt any guests waiting in line., but as the clock ticked 11:30 pm they started calling non stop to leave room and we requested to kindly give us 15min as we were just about to leave n keeping bags outside, but they acted deaf totally n repeated to leave room and the hotel staff didn’t send anyone to even collect bags or at least lend a hand and seeing girls doing it all by themselves weren’t courteous towards us. I mentioned above about the extra 10€ which we were to pay on changing the room so now when we stood their to pay , we were being told to not pay just 10€ in total but 10€ PER NIGHT and since it was budget trip n we had mostly spent all our cash n just saved the extra to be paid at check out but we were firstly shocked to know and secondly when we mentioned that the hotel should have clarified it earlier that it was PER NIGHT and not just on the whole amount , would have made life easier but they were not understanding at all and went rude totally and insisted that this is how it is and instead of being nice or little courteous they went ahead n saved their staff! This was the first time I have had such experience though I’m not the kind of person who would be picky but the behaviour of the staff of this hotel was downright rude and cold, so I would request travellers to kindly be aware of how they do not share the right info and trap their guests wherever they can !
