We stayed at Jiuhuashan Alley Homestay (Huachengsi Branch) with our family, and it was without question one of the most satisfying accommodations we have experienced in recent years. From the very beginning to the moment we checked out, everything felt thoughtful, well-organized, and genuinely welcoming. What really sets this place apart is not just the beautiful property, but the level of care and service provided throughout the entire stay. Even before our arrival, the host proactively contacted us via WeChat to confirm details and assist with planning. Communication was extremely smooth and responsive — no matter what time of day we had questions, we always received quick and helpful replies. For a destination like Jiuhua Mountain, where logistics and routes can feel overwhelming for first-time visitors, this kind of support makes a huge difference and immediately puts you at ease. The room itself exceeded our expectations. It was spacious, bright, and very comfortable, with a layout that worked perfectly for a family stay. Unlike many homestays that feel cramped, this room had plenty of space to relax, unpack, and truly rest. The bedding was clean and soft, and the overall atmosphere was calm and quiet, allowing us to sleep extremely well. Housekeeping standards were excellent — everything felt carefully maintained and spotlessly clean. One of the highlights of our stay was the afternoon tea, which was freely available and not limited or rushed. This wasn’t just a symbolic offering; it was something you could genuinely enjoy at your own pace. Sitting down in such a peaceful environment with tea and snacks after a day of sightseeing was incredibly relaxing. It added a sense of warmth and hospitality that you don’t often find, especially in scenic-area accommodations. Throughout our stay, the host remained available and attentive without ever being intrusive. Whether we needed advice on sightseeing routes, dining recommendations, or small practical help, everything was handled patiently and efficiently. You truly feel that the host cares about your experience, not just about running a business. Traveling with family can sometimes be stressful, but staying here made everything feel effortless. The location is another strong advantage. Situated near Huacheng Temple, the homestay is in a quiet area that feels removed from crowds, yet it’s still very convenient for visiting key temples and attractions. Evenings were peaceful and silent, which is exactly what you want after a full day at Jiuhua Mountain. The surrounding atmosphere perfectly matches the calm and reflective nature of the destination. What impressed us most was the overall sense of being well taken care of. This is not a place where service is performative or scripted — it feels sincere and consistent. From the communication, to the comfort of the room, to the little details like afternoon tea and thoughtful guidance, everything worked together to create a genuinely memorable stay. In summary, Jiuhuashan Alley Homestay offers not only comfortable accommodation, but also warmth, reliability, and peace of mind. 一家特別特別值得去的小院，老闆給升級了房間，因為天氣冷，房間內有空調製熱很快，床品也很乾凈，一層的公共空間很好，特別適合幾個朋友聊聊天，一個人也可以圍爐看看書，喝喝茶。 位置就在大願文化園的腳下，走路3分鐘，離遊客中心走路也就5分鐘，非常的方便。 老闆老闆娘都很熱情的，因為是下午的高鐵，老闆娘特意送我去了高鐵站。 阿姨也很熱情親切，跟我説説爬山的注意事項，走的時候還特意煮了雞蛋，讓帶着怕路上餓着。 總之這是一個你來了，一定會再來的小院！ 第一次來皖南，太喜歡這裏了，期待下次見嘍❤️

本來不喜歡住民宿，但一路往山裡來，看見了這家。你能想見那種一路黑黢黢的山路，突然看見一片温暖的燈光時的欣喜嗎？老闆當即下廚給我們配了幾個菜，特別美味，心一下子熨貼了。第二天，老公上九華山，我和娃滯留民宿，因為連着爬了兩天黃山，我們娘倆實在吃不消了。老闆夫婦熱情地邀請我們吃飯，給我們泡茶，還帶我們上他們後山挖筍。這一切都是在我們退了房之後的，可見為人熱忱善良。下次再來，肯定再住他們家。衷心祝老闆生意興隆，生活美滿。

Excellent service from the butler Mia... added us on wechat from checkin and its super convenient to request for items or ask for the free shuttle... just msg her! She also helped us contact the train station to find our lost bag and arranged for courier to the next hotel, all professionally handled and with a smile at all times... thanks to her we had an excellent 3days at JHS...

We are very pleased with our last minute decision to stay one night at the foot of jiuhuashan. The hotel just recently opened but it beat our expectations. The room is very spacious, comfortable bed (it’s hard but we like the firmness), clean sheets, fluffy towels, free minibar, delicious breakfast and free and quick laundry!!! Highly recommend staying here. I’m willing to try other Atour hotels and I hope they are just as good.

The location of this so ideal for me. It was very peaceful and the room was facing the DiZhang Bodhisattva. I could do my prayer, meditation and connect with DiZhang Bodhisattva daily. The recption is friendly and helpful. The furnishing and the resort hotel facilities were old. The sound proof of the room was poor as you could hear some guests were talking and shouting. But luckily it was a low season. Local Chinese will flood these areas duing the Labor day (01-03 May) and their National day (01-07 Oct). Please avoid visiting duing these periods. High speed rail - Jiuhuashan station just completed. Use this station to access Jiuhuashan. Less than 30min to reach Jiuhua Mountain Dayuan Culture Park (九华山大愿文化园). Highly recommend to stay around the 九华山风景区柯村新区.

We stayed for two nights. On the first day, we visited Jiuhua Mountain Dayuan Culture Park, located at the foot of Mt. Jiuhua, before checking in to our hotel at the Jiuhua Street Scenic Area. The following day, we visited the key temples and explored Jiuhua Street. On the third day, we visited the Heavenly Terrace Scenic Area, specifically Tiantai Temple. We were grateful to the hotel for upgrading our room to enhance accessibility for elderly guests, as well as their helpful advice on executing our plan. Also for arranging private transportation and providing pick-up/drop-off services. The only disappointment was the lack of variety at the breakfast buffet.

The ambiance is elegant, and the service is exceptional. This is the most satisfying hotel I've experienced on recent business trips and vacations within China. The manager and the butler Jiajia are absolutely central to its high recommendation. Jiuhua Mountain captivates the eye, but it's the genuine warmth of people like them that truly captures the heart. 环境优雅，服务特别好，是近期在国内商务出差旅游渡假住过最满意的一所酒店。经理和管家佳佳绝对是该处值得推介的一大理由，九华山很美，但人的风景更美！
