"We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. We chose the hotel based on good reviews from past guests and its proximity to the minibus station from Anshun and the shuttle bus to the waterfall park. However, we were surprised that hot water is only available from 1930 - 2230! And even when conforming to their time frame, we had to call each time to inform them that no hot water was coming. A staff member would then show up on our floor to turn on the hot water. Secondly, our room was downgraded from top floor to the lowest floor, and the reason being it was low season and they only have that one floor in operation. Last but not least, no housekeeping was performed during our 3 day stay - trash was not cleared, toilet paper and water were not replenished until we called and requested it. The hotel seemed to be functioning with very minimum staff in attendance. The front desk lady who checked us in was very efficient in replying to our numerous messages and sorting out the problem. One positive comment: basic breakfast offered was good. The soup noodle was tasty."

The hotel breakfast was an absolute delight! A nine-compartment wooden bento box, brimming with delicious, homely flavors. And the service details – from the front desk staff, to the shuttle service, and even the kitchen auntie – I felt pampered at every turn. I experienced a 'five-star feeling of happiness' here, not because of luxurious facilities, but because of the warmth of being treated like family while on a journey."

I ate the bee sugar plum sent by the boss. I heard that it was only ten days a year, which was very sweet. The scenic spot that the boss drove to also gave a few raincoats, the quality was quite good. When I came out, I saw a double rainbow! The haze on a rainy day dissipated instantly! The boss's downstairs is eating, and he gives a discount. The bar street and snack street are very close to the hotel. It takes a few minutes to arrive. If you order delivery food, it’ll arrive super fast! The service is great! My baby has a virus and he kept vomiting. An Ayi came to give the bed new sheets (around 2am) Need to improve: - add more variety for breakfast. "Our family of five – one grandma, 80+years old, two adults and two teenagers, had a wonderful time at Huangguoshu (Yellow Fruit Tree) in Guizhou. Huangguoshu Waterfall is the largest waterfall in Asia, which is 67 meters high and 83.3 meters wide. The whole Huangguoshu scenic area comprised of 18 waterfalls, making it the world’s largest waterfall cluster. We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The breakfast fried noodle was our favourite. After the daily adventurous outing to the national park, we enjoyed the nice shower and were able to sleep soundly at night, the room is clean and new, outside environment was peacefully quiet. On the day of departure, our self-pre-arranged transporter changed the vehicle from a 6-seater SUV to a 21 seater bus, which we rejected. Thankfully, the hotel manager helped to call up his transport contacts and was able to arrange a comfortable 6-seater vehicle to get us to Anshun Railway Station. The staff at the hotel are all local people, so they know the place and the people well. This boutique hotel is highly recommended. Our family of five bring back with us wonderful memories of our stay here. Here is something we liked about the room And facilities : - T.V. : Projection TV for family room, unique experience - Bath: strong water pressure, give good shower - Toilet: sensor self-flushing - Towels: single use bath towels and facial sheets, replenishable - washing machine: first time I stayed in the hotel provide in-room washing machine!! Is super convenient -Fruits complementary at the lobby: fresh from the farm peach , lychee, Chinese red bayberry (Myrica rubra, also called yangmei (simplified Chinese: 杨梅) -Transport: complementary transfer to and from hotel to Huangguoshu entrance, any timing"

"The environment was fantastic. The owner's place even had a terrace where you could watch the sunset. The bedding was clean and soft, the blackout was excellent, and it was very quiet. After visiting the waterfall, lying down to relax was incredibly relaxing. There was a food street just 100 meters away, and the owner provided excellent service, introducing us to many local delicacies."

"Choosing E Shang Grand Hotel (Huangguoshu Waterfall) for our trip here was absolutely the right decision! The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming and enthusiastically provided information on scenic routes and ticket purchasing methods during check-in. The biggest surprise was the shuttle service to and from the scenic area; the driver was waiting punctually at the hotel entrance and took us directly to the park entrance. After our visit, they picked us up again, saving us taxi fares and waiting time. The room hygiene was also excellent; coming back to a tidy room after a day of exploring instantly relieved half of our fatigue. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting!"
