"It is a nice place to stay. Location is good for night market & near the bus stop (in front & opposite of the police station). Can rent Youbike which few minutes walk from hotel. Must try the ice taro balls at the night market. Miss it very much 🤤🤤🤤.
P/s: there are 2 Kenting Hostels with different locations but nearby…make sure you go to the right one 😊"

La Inn-Nanwan is located directly across the street from South Bay Beach, just a 2-minute walk to the beach, with convenience stores nearby. There is a flat parking lot. It is a 10-minute drive from Kenting Street. All the rooms facing the sea have balconies. Sitting on the balcony and watching the beautiful sea view of Nanwan is definitely one of the most enjoyable things on vacation.

"It’s a great holiday for our group of four, and everyone should rent a room here. We rented 2 rooms for a three-day and two-night vacation. The simple room is small, but the basic facilities are very complete and the owner is very friendly. The area is located at the starting point of the alley of Kending Night Market. It’s very convenient to go to South Bay Beach to play water games. It’s next to Seven and Family. If I make sure next time, I will definitely rent a room here. Thank you, kind boss! We will remember this trip!"

You can enjoy the beautiful scenery of Dajianshan directly from the homestay. The rooms in the cabin are simple and elegant in style, and the prices are very affordable. There is a barbecue area in the outdoor rest area for use, and a camping site is provided so that friends who like camping can camp here. Because the space is large, parking is quite convenient. Folklore is adjacent to Kenting Street and Dawan Beach, both within walking distance. In addition to enjoying the scenery of Dajianshan during the day, you can also go for a walk on the beautiful beach, and at night you can go to the lively streets Take a stroll and experience the charm of Kenting’s nightlife.
"The location is very difficult to find. We drove there by ourselves and couldn't find it after going around for a long time. Fortunately, we found it with the help of local people. You need to go to the Dajianshan Hotel to check in. You need to get the key before you can go to the wooden house. The room is a bit old, but it still has the necessary equipment. The good thing is that it is very close to Kenting Main Street and the beach, and the price/performance ratio is incredible~"

SStaycationBearyFrom arrival to departure, the service was excellent. The staff and crew displayed warm hospitality and were attentive to guests' needs. Like many hotels in Taiwan, in-room utilities such as toothbrushes and toothpaste are not provided, so you’ll need to bring your own.
Sunshine Liv partners with a scooter rental shop that delivers and collects the scooter directly at the homestay. The rental price is reasonable at TWD 400 for 24 hours, and there’s no requirement to return the scooter with a full tank. The homestay is also conveniently located, with the nearest night market just a 10-minute scooter ride away.
We were delighted to receive a complimentary room upgrade with stunning ocean views! The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The TV offers a wide selection of channels across various genres, catering to different preferences. Additionally, the homestay serves a delightful home-cooked style breakfast.
Overall, we highly recommend visiting Kenting, and Sunshine Liv is an excellent choice for accommodation!
P.S. Complimentary parking is available for in-house guests, but the parking space is quite narrow, so drivers should proceed with caution.

SSPA lovely, quaint inn very near the beach road. It wasn’t too busy when I was there, so I felt it was very quiet I the room and the area.
The owners are a friendly older couple with limited English, but they were helpful and polite.
Short walking distance to the night market in the evening, and also a short 5-min walk to the bus stop where you can get to and from Kaohsiung or nearby town Hengchun.
The room is fairly large and had a small balcony. Comfortable bed, good water pressure, bigger sink and counter area in the bathroom than expected.
I’d stay again.

SSteffdoI recently stayed at 35.5 Inn in Kenting Xiaowan, and overall, I had a very positive experience.
The rooms were exceptionally clean, and the amenities provided were good. Everything was well-maintained, making my stay comfortable.
The location is fantastic—the hotel is right next to the Kenting Night Market, which is held daily. This makes it incredibly convenient for food, shopping, and entertainment. Additionally, a scooter rental shop is located right next door, offering both regular and electric scooters, making it easy to explore the area.
One aspect that could be improved is the check-in process. Unfortunately, check-in is only available from 4:00 PM, which can be inconvenient for travelers arriving earlier. A potential improvement would be to provide guests with the door code in advance, allowing early check-in if the room is already available. In my case, my room was unoccupied before my arrival, so this could have been an easy solution.
Overall, I highly recommend 35.5 Inn for its cleanliness, great location, and accessibility to transport options. If they refine their check-in process, it would be an even better experience!

Have to book the level 3 room which is even more expensive but able to see sea view. Breakfast is good and there is a balcony. However, need to note if want to change towel need to inform owner, no room cleaning daily. No lift available there, so if have heavy luggage best to check for level 1 room before booking.

SShawn TravelsIf your focus is purely to spend most of your time at the Nanwan Beach, Cat at Greece will be your choiced accommodation. As we were met with an off=peak situation, my family was the only ones staying at this hotel. We had trouble checking in as there were no one at the front desk to receive us as the property were not manned but monitored remotely. We took a while to get in touch with the hotel caretaker and that was done with the help of a 7-eleven convenience store staff reaching out to her.
Amongst the properties we have stayed, Cat@Greece was the least proactive in ensuring we settled in safely.
In my opinion, this hotel is suitable for stay only during summer and you must self-drive to have the convenience to explore the visitors' attractions.

FFerfer8Family of 5: Bedroom was huge with 3 beds for 5 of us, balcony opens out right by the beach, you can walk down on foot in 2-3mins(recommended to watch sunrise and sunset). Note that beach sand is dark and not the white sandy ones, but still soft & suitable for playing. Bathroom was huge, had a bathtub and 2 sinks. Great cooling weather on the beach even in December, sea water was not too cold. Great to walk along the beach in morning & evening. Wld visit this again!

Pool was not in operation in December. Not many food options by 6-7pm, hotel restaurant closes early. Convenience store 7-11 was walkable distance in abt 7-8 mins though. Easy to walk there on the same side of the road to get some food.

UUsuário convidadoVery nice place to stay. It seems newly built or renovated and it was very clean. We had a great room with a balcony.
Staff is super friendly and really went the extra mile to help us, despite a slight language barrier (they were able to communicate all relevant information in English to us). There was free coffee, tea, and snacks available (including snacks from the island).
You may choose between a pre-made breakfast at the hotel or vouchers for a breakfast at a take away place that’s a five-minute scooter drive away. We choose the latter - it’s a nice local experience, a bit of a challenge for non-Chinese speakers such as ourselves, so if you don’t want to figure it out, the pre-made breakfast might be a better option.
You can also rent an e-scooter here, which is nice but do keep in mind that it’s silent - so other people in traffic may not hear you. We had no problems but I noticed some people crossing that seemed to have no idea we were passing. A plus is that you can change the battery for free at several points on the island.

TTuticaHotel is localted in front of the sea, the views are amazing! The room is not that big but it is comfortable and the bed too. The bathroom is also really good and spacious, maybe something to cover while taking a shower would be good. They also offer breakfast, it is good, however, we wanted it one day at 7:00am because our bus was leaving early and it was not possible. The decoration is also nice.
