"Primeiramente, gostaria de elogiar a proprietária, Sra. Chen, e a Sra. Liu pela atenção, hospitalidade e gentileza durante nossa estadia de duas noites na casa de família.
Fomos alocados em dois quartos no 5º andar, um com duas camas de casal e outro com uma cama queen-size, para minha família.
A casa de família instalou um elevador para facilitar o acesso dos hóspedes aos seus quartos, sem a necessidade de carregar malas pesadas até o andar superior, algo que descobri que outras casas de família não oferecem.
Os funcionários são extremamente prestativos e sempre dispostos a ajudar, principalmente quando precisei lavar roupa. A proprietária se ofereceu para lavar e secar as roupas, permitindo que fizéssemos nosso passeio na montanha com tranquilidade. Além disso, eles tomaram a iniciativa de preparar itens pessoais necessários, como bengala e capa de chuva, antes de partirmos para a trilha, evitando gastos desnecessários. Um gesto tão gentil é muito apreciado, já que esses itens podem ser de uso único.
No geral, nossa estadia foi extremamente maravilhosa e satisfatória, e eu recomendo pessoalmente a pousada Huanlin. Com certeza, reservarei a mesma pousada novamente se voltar a visitar Fanjinshan."

"前台小姑娘很熱情，當天剛到問她如何訂梵凈山門票時，馬上熱情地教我怎麼訂，（因為旺季很難訂的）想訂第二的已經沒票了，要第二天早上6點半搶票，辦好入住進了房間後，我們經過不斷嘗試並且在前台姑娘耐心指導下終於訂到第二天下午的門票，（她的説可能是有人退票了），很謝謝她，房間寬敞明亮，有陽光從窗户照進來舒服，沐浴間雖小一點但也夠用了，還裝了毛巾架這個很好，就是洗完澡會有些水漏出來去廁所的走道上，希望跟進一下，車就停在門口車位有點緊，總的來説還是比較好的體驗"

"It was such a surprise find at Fanjingshan. The rooms are big with modern facilities including toilet seat sensor. The inn also has a lift for those with big luggages and don’t want to climb the stairs with them, a feature that is not in all the inns around.
We have such a comfortable stay, even if it was just for a night. We took a didi to the inn in the evening and in the morning, the owner drove us to the gate of Fanjingshan to purchase the tickets. He also offered to pick us up when we are done for the day at fjs. He also helped us to engage a driver who drove us to fenghuang ancient town for a fair price based on our cab fare from Tongren to fjs. I will definitely recommend this inn which is also new, opened in March 2023.

"I’m proud to be the first to review this great hotel. First the location. I don’t think you can get any closer to the entrance… it’s literally the 3rd hotel from the entrance. It took me 7 minutes to walk to the entrance at a leisurely pace. Next the excellent staff. Super service answered all my questions prior to my arrival regarding tickets to Fanjing. I was also late to check out and come down from the mountain because of the rain… they were very understanding.
The room was also spotless. Super modern… with this really cool shower system that was unique but intuitive. This is a new hotel and as of July 2025, the hotel has only been open for 6 months. The room was pretty much exactly as it looked like in the photos.
The only thing western travelers may find odd is that the first floor is an authentic Chinese restaurant which you have to walk though. For me it was a festive entrance every time! Overall a great bargain."

"I highly recommend staying at this hidden gem of a guesthouse in Zaisha Dong Village when visiting Fanjingshan! The location is absolutely incredible; from the terrace, you can overlook the entire Zaisha Dong Village and gaze at the Fanjingshan mountains. During the day, the mountains are shrouded in mist, and in the evening, the village lights twinkle – every photo you take will be stunning.
The most delightful surprise was that the guesthouse owner is a master of artisanal bread making. Guests can enjoy a DIY bread-making experience, participating in the entire process from kneading and proofing to baking. When the bread comes out of the oven, the whole place fills with the rich aroma of wheat. The bread is soft, fluffy, and healthy – a unique experience that's hard to find elsewhere.
The guesthouse environment is quiet and elegant, and it's very close to the Fanjingshan scenic area, making it convenient for getting around. The owner is warm and attentive, proactively sharing travel tips. It's perfect for both a relaxing getaway and a deep dive into a slow-paced, mountain life experience. This is my top recommendation for anyone visiting Fanjingshan. I've already told my friends about it and will definitely be back!"

A pousada foi recentemente renovada, com instalações novas e completas. Reservamos um quarto com banheira; depois da caminhada e de nos molharmos bastante, um banho foi um alívio bem-vindo do frio. O proprietário até nos forneceu uma esponja de banho; seria ainda melhor se a substituíssem por sachês de ervas para o banho no futuro. Eles também nos convidaram para uma festa com fogueira naquela noite. Nossa caminhada diurna até Fanjingshan foi prejudicada pela chuva e neblina, o que não contribuiu para uma experiência melhor. No entanto, a bela paisagem da pousada, do rio e da ponte suspensa ao redor, a festa com fogueira e os restaurantes próximos tornaram a experiência maravilhosa.
A noite foi tranquila e dormi bem.

Há Muitos povos que viveram recentemente. Esta Casa é um tesouro. O preço do quarto não é alto, MAS é Muito Grande e limpo. O Ambiente é Muito tranquilo. E o quarto é tudo BOM para uso. A cabeça de cama é Muito confortável. Mais importante é que o Chefe é Muito bom. Pode dizer isso, A paisagem Mais bonita desta vez para limpar a Montanha é o Chefe de hospedeiro (ver a Figura). Pode ser dito que é necessário. Pensa EM todos OS lugares para OS convidados, então a única lamentação é que o Chefe Pode Ganhar Cinco Pontos completos e EU Quero Ganhar Dez Pontos

Normalmente não me hospedo em pousadas, mas planejava escalar o Monte Fanjing no dia seguinte. O condado de Jiangkou é o mais próximo do Monte Fanjing e não havia hotéis econômicos por lá, então escolhi este com base nas fotos. A localização do hotel é super conveniente; há estacionamento disponível bem em frente e fica na rua comercial mais movimentada, repleta de restaurantes e lanchonetes. É ótimo para tomar café da manhã e comer comida chinesa; recomendo o restaurante de comida sichuanesa no cruzamento 😆. O quarto era limpo e iluminado, a roupa de cama era macia e confortável e a higiene era excelente, exatamente como nas fotos. Os funcionários da recepção foram atenciosos e simpáticos; a moça até me deu algumas frutas que ela mesma cultivou 🍊. Ela era linda por dentro e por fora ❤️ Tive uma estadia confortável e tranquila e recomendo sinceramente a outros viajantes!

I was exploring Guizhou and decided to hike Fanmingshan. Compared to others, this was a reasonable price and distance to the scenic area. The immediate surrounding village 寨沙东 had some restaurants and stores (although I walked up the road to eat) and was 40 min walk to the entrance. A few other lodging choices are in more remote sections of the river, with only 1 or 2 store fronts or none at all；while a bit cheaper may have no easy transportation or drive options.
I was the only person staying and got upgraded, and enjoyed their light breakfast in the morning. The room was well furnished and had a built-in mattress heater which was excellent in the winter. The owner also helped drive me to the entrance and also arrange the 35 rmb shuttle back to Tongren HSR. All in all excellent value and hospitality!

If you want to be up at Fanjingshan before the crowds arrive, staying at Longting Courtyard is the right decision.
When you artived at Fanjingshan Tourist centre, Longting boss will pick you up and bring you to buy the entrance ticket for tomorrow hike. And then bring you to Longting Courtyard to check in.
Next morning, the lady boss will cook up a bowl of delicious noodles soup for you to fuel up. Then the boss will bring you to check in at the Entrance. After that you will board the sight seeing shuttle bus up to the cable car station.
Fanjingshan is all yours to explore before the crowds arrive.
If you need transport from Tongren Railway Station to Fanjingshan Tourist centre, Longting lady boss will provide you with the driver contact number. One way is 35 yuan.
The room is comfortable and spacious enough for us and they are clean.
We are happy with our choice of staying at Longting.

The hotel is very close to the entrance of Fanjishan park ,just 10 minutes walking .The room was very comfortable, with the characteristics of a five star hotel, the breakfast was very good, particularly the noudols soup with mushrooms and peanuts and the bao buns both sweet and savory. All the staff were exceptional showing kindness and caring took care of us: the cook who cooked the soup at the moment, the maid who washed our clothes for free and above all the hotel manager Ao Bo who overcame every language barrier and took care of anything we needed in the room and in general in the village during our stay, and finally arranged a taxi for us to Tongren station. Thank you all!

Location, location, location! It is only 200m walk away from the queue entrance of Fanjing Mountain. If you are taking the direct bus from Tongren Station / Tongren Bus Station, you shall alight at the Fanjing Mountain Tourist Information Centre and the homestay is just about 250m away. As we are foreigner and unclear of which direction to walk to, we contacted the boss to pick us up. The boss assisted with our luggage and guided us patiently on the directions. He suggested us to pay Zhaisha Dong Village a visit if time permits. The boss even drove us back and forth to as there isn't Didi service up in the mountain. The room of the homestay is spacious, clean and new. The boss and his father are super nice and enthusiastic. Fanjing Mountain is grand but has lots of bugs and mosquitoes. So do remember to bring along your insect repellent.

The location is great, right next to the park entrance! The hotel is beautiful and so is the room. The service was great! We had our room upgraded free of charge to a better and more beautiful room with a projector. We loved watching a movie on it. She also helped us with our transport to our following destination and let us store our luggage for the day.
We would definitely stay here again! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

This was the best service we received in China so far. We booked the hotel quite last moment after contacting the owner, because they were extremely helpful securing for us the Fanjingshan tickets offline (because online tickets were sold out). Then they prepared breakfast and snacks for us before climbing the mountain. It is only a bit over a kilometer from the scenic area entrance. Our concierge Xiao Wu and his hospitality was beyond anything we ever experieneced in any hotel, he helped us organize a transportation, helped with translating, recommended the best restaurants in the area and even handled discounts for us.
When it comes to the hotel itself - beautiful smaller place but with lot of rooms. The pool is nice relaxing treat after hard walking the main attraction in the area. Always clean and well organized. The only thing we did not understand was that big rooms had only one double bad, and room with two double beds was comparatively smaller..
I wish more international tourists would visit this area and this hotel in particular, the staff would appreciate practicing some English.. :-)
